Xiao Yun'er is really well-behaved... but this kind of Nan Zhiyun makes Yu Jingchen feel more and more sorry for her.
"I don't feel pain anymore..." Nan Zhiyun added.
I don't hurt anymore... Yu Jingchen couldn't control himself. How could I not feel pain? He wished Nan Zhiyun wasn't so sensible. He held Nan Zhiyun's hand and gently kissed it.
"Yun'er, be good, I'm fine, don't worry." Yu Jingchen comforted her. Nan Zhiyun withdrew her hand and remained silent, wondering if she had done something wrong again.
"I'll apply the medicine for you now, just bear with it a little longer," Yu Jingchen said gently.
Nan Zhiyun nodded, but she had lost her earlier enthusiasm; the atmosphere in the room was somewhat strange.
"Is Yun'er unhappy?" Yu Jingchen asked her, breaking the silence in the room.
“No… it’s His Majesty who is unhappy,” Nan Zhiyun replied.
"I'm happy as long as Yun'er is happy, so Yun'er doesn't need to be restrained. Do whatever you want, what's there to be afraid of?" Yu Jingchen's tone was so gentle it was almost seduce people.
“But I also want His Majesty to be happy. When His Majesty is unhappy, I feel that I may have done something wrong and upset His Majesty again…” Nan Zhiyun’s voice was a little muffled.
He was being overly cautious, and Yu Jingchen felt a pang of heartache. He applied medicine to Nan Zhiyun's wounds, and Nan Zhiyun trembled slightly, but she endured it without making a sound.
"Don't hold it in, it's okay," Yu Jingchen reassured him.
“I won’t cry…” Nan Zhiyun replied.
"Yes, don't cry. Yun'er is very strong, but you don't need to be like this in front of me," Yu Jingchen told her.
"Mmm," Nan Zhiyun nestled in Yu Jingchen's arms, her face originally turned outwards, but now she turned inwards.
For the rest of the time, Yu Jingchen didn't disturb her. He quickly applied more medicine to prevent the pain from continuing. Nan Zhiyun really didn't make a sound; she couldn't be so dramatic.
After applying the medicine to Nan Zhiyun, Yu Jingchen helped her put her clothes back on. Then he turned Nan Zhiyun around and held her in his arms like a baby.
"Did you not have a good time this spring hunt? After what happened, do you regret coming?" Yu Jingchen asked her.
Nan Zhiyun thought about it carefully: "No, I don't regret it." Nan Zhiyun shook her head.
"But you still suffered injustice and got hurt." Yu Jingchen helped Nan Zhiyun tidy her stray hairs.
"But it looks fun! There's still one more day, isn't there? Is Your Majesty also going hunting?" Nan Zhiyun asked Yu Jingchen.
"Yes, do you want to come along?" Yu Jingchen asked her.
"Is it okay?" Nan Zhiyun still seemed to want to go.
“Sure, if you want to, but you’re still injured, so riding a horse will be uncomfortable,” Yu Jingchen told her.
"It's okay, I want to go." Nan Zhiyun had never been before, so she was very curious.
"Okay, I'll take you to see it tomorrow afternoon." Yu Jingchen held Nan Zhiyun tightly.
But……
"Why in the afternoon? Doesn't the spring hunt start in the morning?" Nan Zhiyun asked, somewhat puzzled.
"Can you get up in the morning?" Yu Jingchen pinched Nan Zhiyun's nose.
Nan Zhiyun: "..." She can get up, but she just doesn't want to.
“If you want to sleep in, then sleep in by yourself. I’ll take you there this afternoon,” Yu Jingchen told her.
"Okay, thank you, Your Majesty. And..." Nan Zhiyun wanted to say something more, but hesitated.
"Hmm? What? What else do you want to say to me?" Yu Jingchen was actually encouraging Nan Zhiyun to tell him anything, not to hide anything, and not to be afraid to speak out.
"Well... when we go back, can I ride a horse?" Nan Zhiyun asked, not wanting to take a carriage. Yu Jingchen didn't answer immediately, hesitating slightly.
"Could it be that I don't ride by myself, Your Majesty, could you take me with you?" Nan Zhiyun wanted to try and get more permission for herself.
"...Okay." I can take her with me, there shouldn't be any problem. Since Nan Zhiyun wants to ride a horse, then let her ride.
"Really? Thank you, Your Majesty." Nan Zhiyun's mood immediately improved.
