The Empress Dowager's thoughts drifted far away.
"Someone was waiting for me there, so I went to see him." The Empress Dowager seemed to soften.
Nan Zhiyun leaned against Yu Jingchen's chest, watching Tai Nanyin get into the carriage. After Nanyin sat in the carriage, she lifted the curtain.
“Yun’er, take good care of yourself… I may not be coming back in the future, so don’t make yourself suffer. If you ever feel wronged, Miao Yinge will support you. The token is in your hands, and from now on… Miao Yinge will be yours too. Promise me you’ll take good care of yourself, okay? If you have the chance, you can come and see me.” Nan Yin said to Nan Zhiyun.
As the carriage drove further and further away, Nan Yin's words still seemed to echo in my ears.
