But she wasn't afraid at all, because Yu Jingchen wouldn't do anything to her, nor would he dare to.
"Your Majesty, I have never owed you anything. On the contrary, it is you who are heartless, cruel, and ruthless. It is you who owe me all along!" The Empress Dowager said, no longer caring about anything else.
Looking at the Empress Dowager who seemed to have gone mad, Yu Jingchen only said one sentence: "At this point, what's the point of saying all this?"
The Empress Dowager laughed upon hearing this: "Is it meaningful? Is this important? Can it influence your decision? Let's make this clear today. "That letter was written by Asu, which I had asked him to write before. Now that His Majesty has received it, he should have no more reservations. Shouldn't you make a decision now?" the Empress Dowager asked him.
"I haven't even received the goods yet, why should I trust you?" Yu Jingchen didn't even know why he said those words...
"Is it that you don't believe it, or that you're unwilling to make a decision? Your Majesty, don't say that you can't bear to part with it, because that would be truly despicable. Your Majesty wouldn't want to be such a despicable person, would you?" The Empress Dowager laughed, her laughter filled with disdain.
"Your Majesty the Empress Dowager..." It was Nan Zhiyun who came out after being bandaged.
"Has the medicine been applied? How is the wound? Should we call the imperial physician to take a look?" the Empress Dowager asked with concern.
Nan Zhiyun gently shook her head.
"You must be tired today, why don't you go and take a nap?" The Empress Dowager seemed to not want Nan Zhiyun to face Yu Jingchen.
Nan Zhiyun glanced cautiously at Yu Jingchen. Naturally, she was also unwilling to stay, so since the Empress Dowager had already spoken, she had no reason not to listen.
"Okay," Nan Zhiyun agreed, but just as she was about to leave, Yu Jingchen called her back.

"Why must Your Majesty do this? Can't you wait just a few more days? What's the point of all this?" the Empress Dowager said.
"So what is Your Majesty the Empress Dowager worried about? I never said I would do anything to her. If what Your Majesty said is true, why would you be afraid of me doing anything?" Yu Jingchen's meaning was that there was no room for negotiation.
"I'm worried about Yun'er not being able to go back with you," the Empress Dowager explained.
"This is beyond the Empress Dowager's control. Does the Empress Dowager not want to anger me?" Is Yu Jingchen now making a blatant threat?
"Your Majesty, do you have to be so ruthless? You've already read the letter, why are you pushing people to the brink of despair?" The Empress Dowager remained firm.
Yu Jingchen was too lazy to say anything more. He looked at Nan Zhiyun beside him and said, "Shufei should have returned to He'an Palace by now, right?" Nan Zhiyun stood there, naturally afraid.
"I disagree. Yun'er, go inside. Anxin, take Yun'er back to the side hall to rest." The Empress Dowager gave the order directly.
“Yes,” An Xin agreed, and then was about to leave with Nan Zhiyun, but Yu Jingchen only gave Xing Lai a look, and Xing Lai stepped forward to stop Nan Zhiyun.
"Your Highness, His Majesty hasn't given any instructions yet, please don't make things difficult for this servant," Xing said with a smile, feigning distress. The Empress Dowager glanced at her, a glint of malice flashing in her eyes.
"Your Majesty, please release them." Yu Jingchen looked at the Empress Dowager.
"Your Majesty's words make it seem as if I am a villain, blocking Your Majesty's people from leaving." The Empress Dowager found it laughable, and Yu Jingchen's heart stirred slightly.
The Empress Dowager looked at Nan Zhiyun and walked up to her: "It's alright, if you're scared, we won't leave." She seemed to have made up her mind, as if she could die with Yu Jingchen the next second if he took her away.
"Does Your Majesty insist on forcing me to use some methods?" Yu Jingchen threatened.
"Your Majesty, can you kill me?" The Empress Dowager's casual remark silenced Yu Jingchen.
"Didn't the Empress Dowager just say that she would no longer interfere in my affairs?" Yu Jingchen asked.
"Yes, I have said that, but this is Yun'er's matter now. His Majesty is not unaware of how many injuries Yun'er has suffered at your hands, is he? Do you think I can rest assured?" the Empress Dowager asked rhetorically.
Yu Jingchen was speechless for a moment after being rebuked.
"Alright, Your Majesty, please leave." The Empress Dowager began to issue the order to leave.
But Yu Jingchen was not someone who could be easily dealt with. He went directly to Nan Zhiyun, grabbed her arm, and started to walk outside. Upon seeing this, the Empress Dowager shouted, "Yu Jingchen, let her go!" She was now addressing her by her given name.
