"If it weren't for this reason, why do you think I would allow you to run wild for so long? If you had stayed quietly in your fiefdom, nothing would have happened, but you insisted on courting death, so you can't blame me for that." Yu Jingchen spoke these words very calmly, as if today's matter was not a big deal.
Before Yu Jing'an could react, Yu Jingchen gave a look to the people around him, and those who had been pointing their blades at Yu Jingchen immediately turned around and aimed them at Yu Jing'an.
Yu Jing'an was momentarily stunned by this sudden turn of events, and then he heard Yu Jingchen say, "Where do you get the confidence to think you can control the Imperial Guards in the palace?" If he weren't in the mood today, he might have played along with Yu Jing'an for a while, but unfortunately, he was in a terrible mood right now. So he had no intention of arguing with him at all.
Even if Yu Jing'an was slow to react, he would have realized it by now, but... how could it be so easy?
"So what if you control the palace? My people are everywhere outside the palace and throughout the capital. What can you do to me?" Yu Jing'an was clearly still unwilling to give up, clinging to a sliver of hope.

"Yu Jingchen, you're despicable!" Yu Jingan roared.
"Everyone knows who it is. Let's call it a day." Yu Jingchen really wasn't in the mood for fun today, so he wanted to finish things quickly. But the next moment, Yu Jingan's words completely changed his expression.
"Nan Zhiyun of He'an Palace is in my hands. If you dare to touch me, I will kill her!" Yu Jing'an was clearly desperate.
"What did you say?" Yu Jingchen was clearly enraged by those words.
"Don't believe me? Then go and see for yourself." Yu Jing'an looked at Yu Jingchen provocatively.
Yu Jingchen hadn't originally planned to do this, but since this matter concerned Nan Zhiyun, he dared not take any risks. So he immediately ignored what was happening on the spot and headed towards He'an Palace.
As he left, he said, "Take him with you!"
Perhaps because he was too anxious, Yu Jingchen had not yet noticed that he had not made any move after hearing that Nan Zhiyun had been captured by Yu Jingan's men.
He rushed to He'an Palace, where a large crowd had already gathered, and none of them were his men. Nan Zhiyun stood in the courtyard with a knife to her neck. When Yu Jingchen saw this, his heart clenched slightly.
The next moment, the men in black beside him attacked Yu Jingchen directly, clearly indicating that they were all after him.
Nan Zhiyun watched Yu Jingchen fighting with the man in black without much reaction, but some complex emotions could still be seen in his eyes.
Yu Jingchen had absolutely no energy to observe any of this right now. He looked at Yu Jing'an and shouted, "Release them!"
"Let me go, and I won't hurt her, but if you're so capable, go and save her yourself," Yu Jing'an said with a smile.
Yu Jingchen wanted nothing more than to tear Yu Jing'an to pieces, but he didn't have the guts right now. He couldn't understand why, when everything seemed foolproof, Yu Jing'an had managed to slip through his defenses.
Yu Jing'an watched from the side, and the guards around him dared not step forward, because Yu Jingchen was afraid that doing so would provoke Yu Jing'an into a desperate act.
Just as Yu Jingchen was engaged in a fierce battle with these people, Yu Jing'an seized the opportunity and shot a hidden weapon from his sleeve. Yu Jingchen was preoccupied with his own defenses, but he was still able to detect the hidden weapon. However, just as he was about to dodge it, Nan Zhiyun somehow managed to escape from their grasp and block the hidden weapon.
Time seemed to freeze at that moment, and Yu Jingchen stared in disbelief at the scene unfolding before him. Nan Zhiyun collapsed into his arms, the hidden weapon piercing through her heart, and Yu Jingchen was momentarily at a loss for how to react.
"Let me go... I don't want to die in the palace..." Nan Zhiyun told him, but Yu Jingchen was still stunned, completely at a loss for what to do in the face of the scene before him.
"Nan Zhiyun... what are you doing here?!" Yu Jingchen's eyes were bloodshot, but his voice was filled with more anger than anything else.
“I came here because I saw you would get hurt…” Nan Zhiyun said.
"Are you stupid?!" Yu Jingchen was clearly angry.
"What are you all standing there for?! Call the imperial physician! Seize all of these people!" Yu Jingchen suddenly lost his mind. If you looked closely, you could see that Yu Jingchen's hands holding Nan Zhiyun were actually trembling.
"It's alright, sweetie, don't be afraid. I've called the imperial physician. He'll take a look at you in a bit, and you'll be fine once the bandages are done." Yu Jingchen held Nan Zhiyun tighter and tighter.
Nan Zhiyun didn't say a word. She was a little tired, her eyelids were heavy, and she wanted to sleep.
"It hurts so much..." Nan Zhiyun said, touching Yu Jingchen's lips with her hand.
"It's okay, it won't hurt for a while, can you hang in there a little longer?" Yu Jingchen felt panicked. He couldn't lose Nan Zhiyun... It wasn't until this moment that he realized he seemed unable to live without Nan Zhiyun.
"Your Majesty... I forgive you, but I don't want to love you anymore." Nan Zhiyun let go of the knot in her heart and lay peacefully in his arms.
