At first, Consort Li didn't react, but then she felt resentful. Why was she intimidated by the tone of such an idiot as Nan Zhiyun?
"Nan Zhiyun, don't think that just because you're Consort Shu now, I'm afraid of you! What right do you have to talk to me like that?!" Consort Li glared angrily at Nan Zhiyun.
"Consort Li, our lady is of higher rank than you and is currently pregnant with the Emperor's child. Please watch your words and actions!" Qianxia dared not continue and immediately spoke up. Consort Li was such a proud and arrogant person; how could she possibly allow a maid to boss her around like this?
So she immediately took two steps forward, and Qianxia quickly stood in front of Nan Zhiyun, afraid that Consort Li would do something to Nan Zhiyun.
Consort Li indeed raised her hand. Qianxia thought she was going to get slapped, but Nan Zhiyun suddenly stood up: "You dare to hit me, try it?!" Nan Zhiyun was clearly also angry.

"Your Majesty, I greet you." Consort Yuan stepped forward and bowed after two steps, and the others followed suit.
“Your Majesty…” Nan Zhiyun looked at Yu Jingchen, her eyes filled with endless grievances.
"Honey, I'm here. Where are you hurt?" Yu Jingchen looked at him anxiously, his face full of concern.
"My stomach hurts... my feet hurt too..." Nan Zhiyun sobbed, her voice trembling with tears, she didn't know if it was because she had been wronged or what.
"Good girl, it's alright now, I'm here." Yu Jingchen hugged her, letting the little girl rush into his arms: "Go and summon the imperial physician!" Yu Jingchen instructed Xinglai.
"Sit down, let me see if your injury is okay? Why does your foot hurt? Did you just twist it?" Yu Jingchen looked at the person in his arms, then sat down and let her sit on his lap.
Nan Zhiyun flinched, as if she were scared: "It hurts... She tried to hit me and pushed me..." Nan Zhiyun pouted, looking like she was about to cry.
"Okay, I understand. Let me take a look first, and we can discuss these things later, okay?" Yu Jingchen's biggest worry right now is Nan Zhiyun's foot injury.
Nan Zhiyun didn't continue speaking, but simply let Yu Jingchen lift her foot. Yu Jingchen examined it carefully and thankfully there was no redness or swelling.
"Does it hurt a lot?" Yu Jingchen asked her.
"It hurts...it hurts when I touch it..." Nan Zhiyun is someone who can't tolerate pain very well.
"We'll have the imperial physician take a look in a bit, don't be afraid." Yu Jingchen kissed Nan Zhiyun's eye. Nan Zhiyun's complexion wasn't good; it was pale and made people worry.
Consort Li was kneeling below, trembling like a leaf. She never expected things to turn out this way. Why did His Majesty seem so worried and anxious about Nan Zhiyun? He clearly hated and loathed Nan Zhiyun the most, and had always tacitly approved of such situations in the past…
"I'm scared... I don't want to stay outside... I don't want to see them..." Nan Zhiyun said several sentences in a row, her words filled with a hint of pleading.
"Okay, then we won't stay here. I'll take you back right away, okay?" Yu Jingchen coaxed her. Then he carefully picked up Nan Zhiyun, and Nan Zhiyun snuggled into his arms.
"Everyone else kneel down. Consort Li will be slapped fifty times. After that, she will continue kneeling!" Yu Jingchen said this to the people behind him. Consort Li looked at Yu Jingchen in disbelief, but she couldn't utter a single word of begging for mercy because she didn't dare to.
Yu Jingchen wasn't unwilling to deal with the current situation, but compared to the present matter, he was more concerned about Nan Zhiyun's safety.
He carried the little girl steadily all the way back to Zichen Palace, and then helped her lie down.
"The imperial physician will be here soon, please wait a little longer," Yu Jingchen comforted him.
“I want a baby…” Nan Zhiyun said these words, which struck Yu Jingchen’s heart. A baby? Perhaps Nan Zhiyun sensed that this child might… that’s why she said such a thing.
However, if this child really causes any conflict with Nan Zhiyun's body, Yu Jingchen will absolutely not hesitate to get rid of the child.
