Chapter 672 Dual Rebirth: Yu Jingchen's Wrath

Nan Zhiyun didn't react at all when she heard Yu Jingchen's voice. Seeing the blood flowing out of her hand, she felt inexplicably relieved, which eased her anxiety and depression.

Yu Jingchen squatted in front of her, watching the blood flowing out continuously, his body radiating a fierce aura.

"Summon the Imperial Physician!" Yu Jingchen roared outside, while he rushed to check her injuries. This time, Yu Jingchen was truly enraged.

"Nan Zhiyun, are you crazy? Did you even listen to what I said? Did you just ignore it? Do you really think I can't bear to hurt you?!" Yu Jingchen couldn't control his emotions. As soon as he saw that bright red, his reason vanished.

Ignoring everything else, Yu Jingchen tried to snatch the hairpin from Nan Zhiyun's hand, but Nan Zhiyun refused to let go, and the two began to argue over it. In the end, Yu Jingchen accidentally cut his hand while trying to grab the hairpin.

He glanced at his hand, paid no attention, and the next moment he snatched the hairpin from Nan Zhiyun's hand and threw it to the ground. Perhaps because of the internal force he used, the hairpin shattered into pieces.

The next moment, Yu Jingchen pulled the person up.

"What do you want to do? Nan Zhiyun, aren't you being a bit too audacious?" Yu Jingchen tried hard to control himself, but he found that he couldn't control himself no matter what.

"I won't die, what is Your Majesty worried about?" Nan Zhiyun's face was pale, and her voice was weak.

"Are you determined to test my patience and bottom line?" Yu Jingchen even changed his self-reference.

Nan Zhiyun didn't want to answer. She looked at Yu Jingchen, and under his gaze, she slowly placed her right hand on the wound on her left hand, then pressed harder: "It hurts a lot here... but compared to the pain in my heart, compared to what you did before, I suddenly feel that this is much better..."

Seeing her frantic actions, Yu Jingchen quickly pulled her hand away and pushed her onto the bed next to him, pinning Nan Zhiyun beneath him.

Then, Yu Jingchen tore a strip of cloth from the bed and used it to bandage Nan Zhiyun's wound to prevent excessive blood loss. Furthermore... he grasped Nan Zhiyun's hands tightly and then placed them above her head.

"It was because I was too soft-hearted last time that you had the illusion that you could hurt yourself again and again. Nan Zhiyun, do you really think you can force me to compromise in this way? How foolish. Since you asked for this, don't blame me for being ruthless this time." With that, Yu Jingchen kissed Nan Zhiyun's lips, sucking hard, clearly with a sense of venting.

Nan Zhiyun struggled, but to no avail. Instead, her resistance only fueled the desire and anger hidden deep within Yu Jingchen's heart. In just a moment, the coverings on Nan Zhiyun's body were torn to shreds.

"Didn't you cut your arm to feel the pain? Since you want to enjoy the pain, then feel it properly now!" With that, he continued regardless of Nan Zhiyun's desires, and the last bit of dignity she had left was gone.

Coincidentally, just then, Xinglai's voice rang out from outside: "Your Majesty, the imperial physician has arrived..."

"Get out!" Yu Jingchen had lost his temper. So what if the imperial physician came? She wouldn't listen anyway. Since she was being disobedient, he would tame her completely! If the old methods didn't work, he would have to try this one.

Xinglai was surprised that His Majesty had suddenly become so angry, and judging from the noise inside, His Majesty seemed... to be more than just angry. Xinglai dared not disturb him any further, and simply led the imperial physician aside to wait, in case His Majesty suddenly summoned him again.

Nan Zhiyun inside began to feel fear and panic at Yu Jingchen's actions. The fear from her past life returned, but this time Yu Jingchen didn't consider it as before. This was her own doing, so he could only grant her wish.

At first, Nan Zhiyun felt as if her body wasn't her own. She only knew that this pain was far more unbearable than the pain of being scratched. She had experienced this countless times in her previous life, mostly unwillingly, each time causing excruciating agony. Therefore, she wasn't sure if her current feelings were from her past life or not. But… no matter which time, the sense of humiliation remained unchanged…

A wave of decadence swept through the room, the smoke from incense swirling around, the atmosphere that should have been tranquil was instead filled with the sounds of turbulent waves.

Yu Jingchen... hurt Nan Zhiyun once again. Nan Zhiyun didn't know when this punishment ended; eventually, she gave up struggling. She only felt that the time was exceptionally long, and she could only endure it. This had numbed her; the fear and pain in her heart deepened, and she could never forget it...

Nan Zhiyun closed her eyes slightly; the bloodstains on her wrists had soaked through the cloth, making them look even more horrifying. Her face was also paler and weaker than before. Perhaps sensing it, or perhaps the bright red color awakened what little reason he had left, Yu Jingchen slowly calmed down.
