"Zizi, don't be afraid, go to that rock."
Panting, Mai Zizi, though still shaken, obediently opened her eyes and saw a protruding rock behind her.
She tried to stretch out her foot and barely managed to touch the rock.
"No, I can't get up."
"It's okay, don't worry, I'll support you."
Su Jin's face turned pale, and cold sweat streamed down her forehead, but she still kept her voice steady as she comforted Mai Zizi, telling her not to worry.
Mai Zizi nodded, took two deep breaths, mustered her courage, and with Su Jin's push, leaned back and landed steadily on the rock.
The stone was firm and did not wobble at all.
Overjoyed, Mai Zizi burst into tears and quickly reached out her hand to Su Jin, "Hurry..."
Before she could even utter the word "come," Mai Zizi froze, her hands covered in blood.
"Are you injured?"
Mai Zizi then noticed that Su Jin's complexion was off. She had been gripping Su Jin's back tightly, but hadn't noticed the injury on her back at all.
This was when Su Jin rushed towards Nie Qingyi, and the guards seized an opening and slashed her with their swords.
She just didn't say anything.
"Come here quickly, come here quickly." Mai Zizi felt extremely guilty, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Su Jin gritted her teeth and smiled, "It's okay, give me a hand."
“Okay.” Mai Zizi climbed to the side and stretched out her hand.
However, the moment their fingertips touched, the crack in the stone that held the sword shattered, and Su Jin lost her support and fell instantly.
"Su Jin, get out!" Mai Zizi cried out in anguish.
"Don't move, wait for me!" Su Jin reminded her as she descended.
The cliff was very deep, and Su Jin quickly disappeared from sight.
Mai Zizi was utterly devastated and at a loss, all she could do was cry out, "Help! Someone, save her!"
However, only her own echo could be heard from the cliff.
