Gu's small eyes widened in surprise; he certainly hadn't expected me to figure out he'd been drugged.
The sound of cracking bones broke the silence as Fu Yanshen clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles seemed to burst out of his thin skin.
Under the light, the man's profile was like an ice sculpture, his sharply defined jawline as sharp as a knife. He grabbed the collar of the man surnamed Gu's shirt, raised his fist, and punched him in the cheek.
I was taken aback; he actually believed what I said.

Fu Yanshen's punch sent blood splattering into the air, and Gu Changkai screamed in agony.
