Sheng Beichen looked unconvinced, so I had no choice but to draw on myself again.
"I promise you, I'll let you go!" he said quickly.
"Go open the door!"
I turned my head to signal to him.
He walked toward the door.
This madman's possessiveness towards me is so intense it's almost perverse. I'm sure he's afraid I'll die, which is why I threatened him with my own death.
He actually fell for my tricks.
After Sheng Beichen walked to the door, he glanced at the machine next to the door, as if scanning his eyes, and the metal door slowly opened.
Seeing the light outside, I finally felt relieved and rushed out.
The cold air made me shiver all over, and what came into view was a lush expanse of trees and distant mountains.
