"Rong Linlang, stop."
Twelve-year-old Li Yue'e already had some of Li Guangping's bully spirit. She ran out to stop Linlang, "Rong Linlang, have you been blinded by lard? How dare you do this to my brother and our family?"
She pointed at Linlang viciously and said, "I'm telling you, I won't forgive you, my brother won't forgive you, and our whole family won't forgive you."
With a snap, Linlang forcefully opened Li Yue'e's hand and sneered, "Who do you think you are? I, Rong Linlang, need your forgiveness. And your scumbag brother, your hypocritical parents, get as far away from me as possible from now on."
"If you dare point at me like that again, I'll cut off your finger." Linlang glanced at Li Yue'e coldly and roared, "A good dog doesn't block the road. Get out of the way."
Li Yue'e's hand hurt. She had never expected Linlang to be so fierce. She had always been smiling and fawning towards her before. But she had never expected Linlang to treat her like this today. She was frightened.
Watching Rong Linlang leave with the basket on her back, Li Yue'e reluctantly left. She knew that Rong Linlang could do what she said, and if she continued to pester her, she would definitely take action against her.
Rong Linlang has changed. She is no longer the Rong Linlang who coaxed her carefully and often bought her cakes, candies and beautiful clothes.
Li Yue'e returned home with her head down and smelled the odor of pig manure and urine. She looked up and saw her brother coming back, scrubbing vigorously with a scented soap at the well.
"Brother, what's wrong with you?" Li Yue'e covered her nose and took a few steps away in disgust.
Li Guangping had washed twice, but there was still a bad smell on his body. Being plotted against by the father and son of the Rong family was a shame for his whole life.
"I won't let them go." Li Guangping was furious.
He was splashed with feces, which sprained his foot, preventing him from participating in hunting and hindering his future. He must get it back from the Rong family.
Unfortunately, he couldn't go for the time being. He always felt that the stench on his body was so strong that he wished he could rub off a layer of skin.
Mrs. Li was crying in the room. She hadn't gained anything but ended up losing the rice. She had harmed her son and now she was humiliating him. The Rong family were bastards, they must die a miserable death.
A-choo~
Linlang sneezed twice as she just walked to the door of her house. She was complaining in her heart, and all the curses she said to me bounced back twice as loudly.
After thanking the children for helping to look after the house and giving them the wild fruits they had picked, the children happily dispersed, "Sister Linlang, Uncle Rong and Brother Rong are back."
Linlang saw two loads of firewood drying in the yard and realized that her father and brother had gone up the mountain to collect firewood.
Putting down the backpack, Rong Bowen and Rong Yi came over. Rong Yi, in particular, described what had happened in vivid detail when he saw Linlang.
Linlang gave a thumbs-up without hesitation, "Dad and brother are awesome, it's so satisfying."
The three members of the family all laughed, felt relieved, and felt happy.
"That bastard might come and cause trouble, but he has no evidence, so he'll just be making trouble unreasonably."
Rong Bowen told Linlang not to worry, "He sprained his ankle and his fighting ability has been reduced. With your brother and I together, he won't be able to gain much advantage."
Based on Linlang's understanding of Li Guangping, and knowing that he had treated him so harshly, he would not act secretly this time. He would definitely call Wu Qi to come to the Rong family to cause trouble.
Rong Yi sneered, "It's good that you're here. Anything without evidence is just a false accusation, a blatant revenge."
The scene had been restored, and nothing could be seen. Rong Yi whispered, "Sister, have you forgotten what our father used to do?"
Linlang remembered that her father, who didn't kill pigs, was a well-known coroner before he was a butcher. He was involved in a false case that implicated powerful people and was nearly silenced. His parents took them on an escape and came to Lu'er Town to hide their identities.
Alas, her family is also pitiful, in this evil old society.
"Dad, brother, we'll wait respectfully for Li Guangping to come." Linlang whispered a few words, "If he dares to come, we'll make a scene with him. The more violent the better."
Rong Bowen and Rong Yi didn't expect Linlang to have such luck. Of course, they knew that Linlang was kind-hearted and would do her best to save her even if she didn't know who the lady was.
It was an unexpected success.
They went to the mountain to chop wood just to get close to the young masters in the villa. Unfortunately, they brought too many people and the guards were tight, so it was impossible to get close.
The family of three knew what was going on and just waited for the bastard to come.
Linlang took out some herbs and said, "I picked some herbs for Amu. I hope they are effective and he can get better."
Rong Bowen used to be a coroner, and although his medical skills weren't great, he could still tell that the boy had been poisoned. "Let's try our best."
Life and death are in the hands of God. They have tried their best. Unless the legendary Poison Saint appears, they can ensure that the boy can be detoxified.
However, Rong Bowen was puzzled as to how his daughter suddenly became knowledgeable in medicine. He did not ask, thinking that perhaps his daughter had had some kind of adventure.
His daughter had been smart since she was young. Ever since she met Li Guangping, she had been completely captivated by him and was determined to marry him. Now that he had seen Li Guangping's true character, and his daughter was the same daughter as before, Rong Bowen was not surprised by how capable she was.
Rong Yi went to guard the front gate, waiting for Li Guangping to arrive.
Rong Bowen helped his daughter sort the medicinal herbs and put them on bamboo baskets to dry.
Linlang washed the Netherworld Flower, but was still short of a few medicinal herbs. Rong Bowen asked her to wait at home while he went to the clinic to buy them for her.
Looking at her father's departing back, Linlang smiled happily. It's great to have a family who trusts and supports you unconditionally.
Turning around, she entered the side room.
Looking at the still unconscious man, Linlang sat in front of the bed and said, "I hope saving you is not a wrong decision."
"Amu, I'm actually a hard-hearted person. My circle of protection only includes my father, brother, and son. I will save you because you are my son's father."
