Jiang Wan couldn't smell anything.
Jiang Xiaoshu, however, sided with the simple-minded younger sister and asked, "What's that stench?"
Jiang Xiaoxin said very seriously, "The smell of a stinky man."
She pointed her fair, delicate hand toward the stairwell entrance, silently indicating that the stench was there.

The people at the entrance of the building seemed to be observing as well. They confirmed that the elevator had gone up and then come down, indicating that she had no helpers behind her, before revealing herself.
They were two men, whose appearance matched Mi Mang's description, except they smelled terrible and looked like they had been living among refugees.
"Yes, that's her!"
The two sides met briefly, and the two men even exchanged private messages.
Jiang Wan remained calm and composed, protecting the two children behind her and keeping a close eye on their every move.
The elevator slowly descended, and the two men felt reassured knowing that no one would come to help her.
One of the taller ones spoke up: "We know you have a lot of supplies. We don't need much. If you just give us a little, we won't hurt you."
