Chapter 363 Provocation and Trouble-Making
The robot seemed surprised to see Jiang Wan appear, but quickly realized it was only natural.
These foolish humans should be treated as sacred decrees and not disobeyed.
One of the leading robots waved to her, signaling her to come over. The other robots behind him held special weapons, all pointing their guns at her. It seemed that if she dared to hesitate even slightly, they would execute her on the spot without hesitation.
Seeing this scene, Cheng Zhen was even more worried about her going deep into enemy territory alone. He grabbed Jiang Wan's hand, frowned, and shook his head at her: "You don't have to go. We can fight them together."
Jiang Wan shook her head silently but firmly: "Remember what I said."
Confrontation is easy, but the price they pay is something none of them can afford.
Jiang Wan walked resolutely toward the robots, but stopped halfway there. Standing in front of the robots, she said coldly, "I can go with you, but you must promise not to harm anyone here."
The leading robot immediately waved its hand, and all the weapons aimed at Jiang Wan and Long Xiangcheng instantly stopped.
Jiang Wan finally breathed a sigh of relief. When she walked up to them, the leading robot asked, "Who took you away from Dragon City?"
Seeing Jiang Wan standing there in a daze, he added, "Who is the superhuman at the Time-Space Gate?"
Jiang Wan's eyes were cold as she refused to answer: "If you've come to take me away, then I agree to go with you. But if you've come to cause trouble for us superhumans, then I'm sorry, we'll have to play along to the end."
Sensing the tension between them, Cheng Zhen and the others stood on the city wall behind her, ready to strike at the slightest sign of trouble and snatch her back.
The robot didn't move, and a hint of laughter flashed in its monotone voice, which sounded very strange and terrifying.
"Don't get agitated, I was just asking casually."
Then his gaze swept over everyone on the city wall.
Cheng Zhen immediately sensed something was wrong and ordered, "Everyone, take cover!"
This wretched robot was clearly probing their strength. Its reaction was so swift that its gaze only found a few people. It withdrew its laser beam with slight regret, but a surge of irritation and anger welled up inside it.
"Let's go!"
Jiang Wan returned to Longcheng once again, but this time, no special bomb was planted on her.
The robot wasn't reassured by her; rather, it warned her in advance: "Don't even think about running away, and don't try anything funny. If you dare to make any further moves, I can wipe Longxiang City to ashes with just one finger. No, I mean, Zhusha City will also disappear from this world."
At this moment, they were with Jiang Wan in a special studio. The four walls of the room were all covered with huge screens, and in the center of the room was a row of control desktops, one of which was a particularly eye-catching red button.
As the robot spoke, it pointed its outstretched finger at the red button.
Without him needing to elaborate, Jiang Wan understood that this was an atomic bomb, a missile, or an even more powerful weapon.
Jiang Wan stood ramrod straight, expressionless, neither humble nor arrogant, and glanced sideways at the robot.
"If I remember correctly, we have a cooperative relationship, right? Are you threatening me now?"
The robot was visibly taken aback, then burst into laughter: "What gave you the illusion that you're qualified to cooperate with us?"
This statement is extremely contemptuous and insulting.
Jiang Wan was furious, but she held back for the moment. Her gaze was fixed on the void, her eyes resolute and her expression arrogant: "Because what you want is something only I have. If I'm in a good mood, I might be able to develop it right away. If I'm in a bad mood, then I'm sorry, I can't make it."
The robots around her, sensing her hostility, instantly switched to combat mode and went into attack mode.
The robot that had been talking to Jiang Wan pulled out a pistol and pointed it at her: "Are you going to contradict me?"
"I need to know, what do you need this for?"
"You don't need to know so much. You humans have a saying, 'Curiosity killed the cat.' If you don't want to die too soon, you'd better not ask anything!"
Jiang Wan sneered inwardly, then lazily yawned.
"I'm sorry, I've been running around all day and I'm really tired. I need to rest."
The robot clearly saw through her act and angrily retorted, "As expected, you humans are all despicable people, always lying and going back on your word is your everyday routine!"
He became increasingly agitated, and the pistol he was holding kept swaying back and forth with his body, as if it would explode and go off at any moment.
Jiang Wan wasn't afraid, but gave a cool warning: "Take it easy. If you break me or kill me, you won't get what you want."
Her words hit the nail on the head regarding the robots' weaknesses.
So far, what they want is only available from her. They are hesitant to push her too far, and can only tolerate her arrogant and unrestrained words and attitude.
Therefore, for now, we can only learn from the human spirit of forbearance, treat the person well, and arrange for them to be placed in a separate room.
Although it was supposed to be a separate monitor, Jiang Wan still saw two robotic monitors in the room, as expected.
That night, she chose to ignore it, got a good night's sleep, and recharged her energy. The next morning, she got up early, full of energy, ordered a lavish breakfast from the robot butler, ate and drank her fill, and was in excellent spirits before starting to cause trouble.
She first grabbed a robot monitor and unexpectedly twisted its arm off.
"Who gave you permission to spy on me here? You want to watch me even when I'm sleeping? Don't you know that men and women shouldn't touch each other? I mean, you robots don't have genders, right? Not all of you are women, you're all men. Watching me here all night is taking advantage of me."
After he finished his nonsensical rant, they dislocated his other arm as well.
Another robotic monitor standing diagonally across the room immediately drew its weapon and pointed it at her; "Don't move! Stop! If you don't stop, I'm going to shoot!"
Jiang Wan placed the robotic arm she had just removed across his neck, accompanied by crackling electrical currents, and defiantly stared back at him:
"Try firing a shot and see who dies first, me or you."
Although they were robots, they were quite human-like, and they fully understood that the woman in front of them was someone they could not harm at will.
