Six or seven men emerged from a secluded spot in the service area. They all looked fierce and menacing, and didn't seem like nice guys at all.
The man in the lead was tall and thin, wearing a light blue police uniform with his shirt open, holding a Type 64 pistol in his hand, walking with his legs spread apart like a crab, and showing no regard for anyone.
Several people following closely behind him, some wearing the same uniform as him, came over laughing and joking.
A man with a short, cropped haircut, wearing a floral shirt, slung a machete over his shoulder and shouted, "Hey, everyone in the car, listen up! Put down your weapons and get out! This mountain is mine, these trees are mine..."
Before he could finish speaking, his companion with dyed red hair next to him pushed his head and interrupted him, "Why are you talking so much nonsense? Go check if there are any girls in the car. Damn! There isn't a single pretty girl in this desolate place. I'm so bored."
A fat man behind him put his arm around the red-haired man's neck and grinned wickedly: "Wasn't that a girl yesterday? Didn't you two have enough fun?"
"Damn! That one turned into a zombie as soon as she took off her clothes, it scared me to death. I finally found a young and pretty one, and of all the old scallions in the hut, only Lao Ba would dare to touch her."
The burly man called Lao Ba had a fierce look on his face and didn't say a word, but he kicked Hong Mao hard when he passed by.
The group approached the car, and the tall, thin man knocked on the window with a 64-ton sachet. "Get out, quick!"
The henchmen behind had already opened the back door and trunk and started searching.
"Damn! David, there's absolutely nothing in this car."
Lin Xuan, fearing that the supplies on the vehicle would be sabotaged, had already used her invisibility vines to drag them away and collect them.
They set off early in their previous lives, and they didn't know if they were on this route, so they never encountered this group of people.
Not long after leaving D City, the car that had accompanied them all the way in their previous life was totaled. Lin Xuan was furious and couldn't let these people off the hook.
Xia Feng got out of the car. His height of over 190 cm and his muscular physique gave him a strong sense of intimidation. The group was startled, and Dawei, the leader, immediately raised his gun and took a few steps back.
"Turn around and put your hands behind your back."
Xia Feng's cold, stern eyes swept over the group without him speaking or moving. The group immediately tensed up. Dawei raised his gun, "Hurry up, don't dawdle, this gun of mine can go off accidentally!"
Xia Feng, with a sullen face, glanced at the passenger seat out of the corner of his eye before slowly turning his back. Red Hair quickly stepped forward and handcuffed Xia Feng's hands, and the others breathed a sigh of relief.
She grabbed the tall, strong man and led him toward the service station. Xia Feng did not resist and followed silently. After Lin Xuan could no longer see Xia Feng in the space, she immediately came out, wrapped her whole body in invisibility vines, and followed.
When the group arrived at the service area, they were surprised to find two police riot control vehicles parked at the entrance.
Upon entering the service area building, you are greeted by a supermarket. The supermarket's goods are neatly arranged on shelves and placed against the wall, while the central area is filled with sofas and tables that seem to have been found from somewhere.
Playing cards were scattered on the table, along with an empty instant noodle cup and an ashtray full of cigarette butts. A man of medium build, wearing a baseball cap, with small eyes, a big mouth, and an oily face, sat on the sofa, fiddling with the playing cards in his hand.
"Brother Cheng, we caught a man..."
"Brother Cheng, this guy is all alone, driving an SUV, and there's nothing in the car..."
As soon as the men returned, they all sat down next to the man called Brother Cheng to give their reports.
“There’s nothing in the car, and I wasted two bullets. The car is totaled. What’s the use of catching a man like this? It’s better to…” Dawei went over and sat next to Cheng Ge, making a gesture of running his thumb across his neck.
Cheng Ge glanced at Xia Feng and saw that he was burly and stood there with his hands cuffed behind his back. His face showed no panic, and he even looked very relaxed.
He straightened his baseball cap, a sinister glint in his small eyes. "Break one of his legs first, then lock him up with those cops."
Upon hearing the order, David immediately stood up and grabbed the large car repair wrench that was standing next to the sofa.
"Take off his clothes. What's he wearing? A sun protection suit, right? Take them all off." Brother Cheng leaned back, arms outstretched, against the sofa back.
"Yeah, strip him of this outfit and give it to our Brother Cheng." The henchmen around him burst into strange laughter.
Dawei swung the wrench with both hands, aiming it straight at Xia Feng's face. Xia Feng's hands, which were behind his back, moved slightly, and the metal handcuffs instantly twisted and changed shape, revealing a 30-centimeter-long metal spike in his hand.
Xia Feng dodged the wrench that was thrown at him and slapped Dawei so hard that he couldn't even be pried off the ground.
Xia Feng wanted to deliver another blow with the metal spike, but when he slapped the man, he was stunned. The man's brains splattered out as he hit the ground. He looked at his own hand and realized that his strength had increased so much.
His move stunned the onlookers, but Cheng was the first to react, pulling out his pistol from his waist and firing.
Bang bang bang!
He opened several compartments, but each time he was blocked by a barrier. It was Lin Xuan's invisibility vines that blocked his way. Xia Feng lowered his arms, which were crossed in front of him, and the metallic light on his arms flowed and faded. He looked around and, not seeing Lin Xuan, felt relieved.
Cheng Ge only had five bullets left in his pistol. He emptied them all in one go, then simply threw the gun away and turned to his men, ordering, "Damn it, take him down!"
Several henchmen, armed with weapons, rushed forward. Xia Feng threw away the metal spikes, picked up the wrench that Dawei had dropped on the ground, and slammed it down on one of the bald men charging at him from below.
The bald man flew more than two meters off the ground before crashing to the ground with a thud, his legs twitching and convulsing.
He turned around and kicked the man in the floral shirt who had attacked him, sending him crashing into a shelf piled with supplies. The man's chest caved in, and he vomited a mouthful of blood, breaking 24 of his ribs.
Clang! Clang! Clang! A wrench took one of the henchmen away, and the fat guy standing at the back was so frightened that he quickly ran towards the door.
Good heavens, where did this killing machine come from? Even his boss is no match for him. I'd better run away quickly!
Before he even reached the supermarket entrance, he tripped over something and fell flat on his face, crashing into the supermarket's glass door and passing out.
Lin Xuan retracted her invisibility vines, revealing her figure. She went over and kicked the fat man several times. The soft, bouncy texture of the fat under her feet was not satisfying at all. Thumbs down!
Xia Feng faced off against Cheng Ge. Cheng Ge raised his hand, and an arc of electricity struck Xia Feng's head.
Xia Feng spread his five fingers, and an electric grid appeared on his head. The electric arc disappeared into the grid, like a drop of water falling into the sea, without even a splash.
Cheng was horrified. This man's supernatural abilities were incredibly strong; he had truly bitten off more than he could chew this time and was doomed! Seeing that he couldn't defeat Xia Feng, he simply begged for mercy: "Brother, brother, let's talk this over, this..."
He wanted to say that it was all a misunderstanding, but before he could finish speaking, Xia Feng threw a wrench at him and hit him on the head. Good heavens, his head almost flew off. Brother Cheng was knocked to the ground on the spot, twitched a few times, and died with his eyes wide open.
His hat had fallen to the side, and without its cover, a receding hairline was revealed.
Lin Xuan, who was walking over, saw it and curled her lips in disgust: "Ugh~ Bald man, so disgusting."
