Bai Yifan glanced at Bai Xizhu and Leng Yebai, who were slowly sipping their coffee, stomped his foot, and decisively stood up and left.
If we don't leave now, we'll lose face.
He desperately needed a toilet.
After Bai Yifan left, only Bai Xizhu and Leng Yebai remained.
Leng Yebai gently put down his coffee, his fingers lightly rubbing the cup, and looked at Bai Xizhu.
This face is the same as the one in my dream.
His dream and reality overlapped, leaving him feeling somewhat lost for a moment.
Am I still dreaming?
"May I have your name?"
As Leng Yebai looked at the girl in front of him, all he could see in his mind was that smiling, radiant face.
She said, "Why don't we die together?"
A deep, hoarse voice rang out, and Bai Xizhu was slightly taken aback.
The last thing I heard when I self-destructed was this.
Before I could answer, I knew nothing more.
The deep, husky voice pulled her back to the time before her rebirth.
The fleeting sadness in Bai Xizhu's eyes was quickly concealed by her.
"My name is Bai Xizhu."
Bai Xizhu's clear voice rang out.
Leng Yebai quietly looked at Bai Xizhu for a long time before picking up his cup and taking a sip of coffee.
White ramie.
It turns out her name is Bai Xizhu.
Leng Yebai seemed to have solved a problem that had troubled him for many years, and he felt much more relaxed, even a little excited.
Finally, she answered her own question.
It may seem absurd to others.
That was just a dream.
But Leng Yebai was absolutely certain that the girl in his dream was the girl in front of him.
Do you recognize me? I—
Leng Yebai looked at the quiet girl in front of him and blurted out, but then he forcibly stopped himself from saying anything more.
I've seen you in my dreams many times.
Leng Yebai looked slightly uncomfortable.
In her view, it might be the first time she had met him.
"I've met you."
Bai Xizhu nodded obediently.
"Where is it...?"
A glimmer of hope flashed in Leng Yebai's eyes, and he almost blurted out whether he had seen it in a dream.
"Last Sunday, Xiao Fan and I were shopping at the supermarket when we saw Uncle Leng running on the street."
Bai Xizhu answered calmly.
I just remembered that the tall, upright figure I saw that day looked very familiar.
The moment she saw him, she remembered him.
Isn't that Running Man?
Leng Yebai's face stiffened slightly, and his bright eyes dimmed considerably.
His slender fingers gently rubbed the cup, and Leng Yebai exuded a faint aura of resentment.
"Xiao Zhu, how old are you this year?"
Leng Yebai asked softly.
"Uncle Leng, I'm 24 years old this year, a senior in college, and I'll be graduating soon."
Bai Xizhu looked completely obedient.
"I'm 26 this year, two years older than you."
Leng Yebai said, enunciating each word clearly.
They're only two years apart, yet they're separated by a generation.
"Don't worry about the details."
Bai Xizhu sipped her coffee with an indifferent expression.
Leng Yebai exuded a chilling aura as he stared intently at Bai Xizhu.
If Bai Xizhu were to see his eyes, she would surely be able to tell that he exudes the aura of a resentful woman.
Bai Yifan bought the ribs very quickly, almost running back.
"Sis, I've bought everything, let's go home!"
Bai Yifan rushed into the coffee shop carrying a bag of pork ribs.
Bai Xizhu finished the last sip of her coffee, stood up, and prepared to leave.
Leng Yebai was faster than Bai Xizhu; he strode over with his long legs, paid the bill, and then left the coffee shop.
Bai Yifan ignored him and pulled Bai Xizhu to go home.
Bai Xizhu took a deep look at Leng Yebai's back, her eyes flickering slightly.
Unexpectedly, I ran into him again.
The question, "What's your name?" almost made her feel like she was back to the moment she self-destructed.
Bai Xizhu shook her head slightly, dispelling her thoughts, and walked side by side with Bai Yifan on the road.
"Sis, stay away from that Uncle Leng. I think he might have something going on," Bai Yifan said.
"Why?"
Bai Xizhu wasn't as wary as Bai Yifan.
After all, he was her savior in her past life, so she could trust his character.
"Think about it! He was working as a Running Man in broad daylight, and he was still holding my hand at the supermarket entrance. Maybe he has mental problems," Bai Yifan muttered.
"Holding your hand and won't let go?"
Bai Xizhu was slightly puzzled.
"Yes, she grabbed my hand tightly and asked who I went to the supermarket with last time, and what my name is!" Bai Yifan said.
Bai Xizhu heard Bai Yifan fall into deep thought.
Did he also get reborn?
It doesn't look like it at all!
If he were a reborn person, he should be busy collecting supplies right now, so why would he be bothered by her name?
Bai Xizhu frowned and thought for a long time, but still couldn't figure out what kind of ghost it was.
A black luxury car suddenly stopped in front of Bai Xizhu and Bai Yifan.
Bai Xizhu looked up and saw those sharp eyes.
"Come up."
Leng Yebai tried his best to speak in a very calm voice.
He always spoke in a cool and aloof tone.
He was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage. He started his own business while in college and eventually founded his own company.
Every step is taken by one person.
He was rather aloof, which was part of his personality, and he spoke without much emotion.
Only when facing those dark eyes did Leng Yebai feel he needed to be calmer.
