Chapter 314 The Peaches Have Fallen

A powerful surge of brainwaves instantly acted on the little blue zombie.

The rotting body trembled uncontrollably.

The raging brainwaves were mixed with commands to expel the perpetrators.

The little blue zombie's blank face twisted slightly.

It seems they don't want to leave.

However, the brainwaves emanating from Zhang Yiming were too terrifying, exerting an even greater and more unbearable pressure than before.

The rotting foot slowly moved outwards.

Its figure was thin, and a trace of reluctance was revealed on its blank face, yet it still left this place little by little.

No zombie could disobey Zhang Yiming's orders.

Zhang Yiming glanced coldly at the departing little blue zombie, then stepped into the house.

The Fan couple saw what was happening at the door and were slightly puzzled.

Zhang Yiming appears gentle, but that's only in front of the Bai family; most of the time he's aloof.

The little blue zombie had been standing at the door for a long time, but Zhang Yiming had never noticed it or chased it away.

What's wrong with me today?

However, the Fan couple never cared about or inquired about these matters.

I'm already overwhelmed with the daily tasks of washing and cleaning.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Just as Zhang Yiming stepped into the courtyard, the sound of gunshots rang out from the village entrance.

I knew it was Captain Zhu without even needing to sense it.

Every now and then, he would come and get himself killed.

He always brought a bunch of people with him, but he always came back alive alone.

The people at the base were too afraid to come with him; he must have gone to find other reinforcements earlier.

Zhang Yiming's brainwaves filled the village, and through the eyes of the low-level zombies, he saw the scene at the village entrance.

Captain Zhu was holding onto an old man with one hand and a teenager with the other.

The boy was emitting a pale green light, which was a wood-type ability.

Captain Zhu's face was filled with madness; he had lost count of how many times he had been here.

No one came with him, so he came alone, and what he was carrying was someone he had grabbed along the way.

They serve as "meat" to lure zombies.

Captain Zhu, who was willing to give up his own life for the survivors, has been tormented and lost his original heart in just a few days.

Protecting the survivors was no longer important to him; what mattered was finding Xiao Song.

Even though Xiao Song is a zombie, staying here should be a good choice, Captain Zhu is still worried and must take him back personally before he can feel at ease.

Zhang Yiming sat lazily in the chair, enjoying the warmth of the sun, his eyes closed, using his brainwaves to scan the scene outside.

Zhang Yiming is a top student who studies science and also has some knowledge of psychology.

A person as upright as Captain Zhu would only abandon his true self when he is particularly devoted to something.

Xiao Song was someone he personally mentored, and he is very important to him.

Zhang Yiming's unhurried pace repeatedly thwarted his efforts, which only fueled his competitive spirit.

It evolved into a situation where they absolutely had to get Little Song, the zombie, out of there.

The zombie Xiao Song stood silently beside Zhang Yiming with a rotting face, looking every bit like a little follower.

It had no idea that the reason it was so lively outside was because of it.

Someone is looking for it.

But it had lost consciousness; all it knew was that before it stood its emperor, and it had to submit to him.

"Bang bang bang!"

Captain Zhu released the old man's hand and quickly fired his gun at the zombie in the suit at the front.

The zombie in the suit remained motionless as bullets pierced his flesh, his blank face devoid of any expression.

It will only turn its head to dodge the bullet when it is about to fly towards its head.

The zombie in the suit's rotting eyes fell on the two men in Captain Zhu's hands. His rotting throat moved, and a bloodthirsty emotion filled his mind.

It is a zombie that desperately craves blood.

But its emperor suppressed them, preventing them from becoming too unruly.

They obey the emperor's words without question.

Fortunately, Captain Zhu would bring "food" to feed them every now and then.

"Charge! Kill them!"

Captain Zhu, with a cold expression, pushed the old man and the boy towards the zombie.

The old man and the boy were terrified and quickly retreated, not daring to rush forward at all.

The faint green light emanating from the boy posed no threat whatsoever.

"The peaches are dying, and the peach blossoms are all withered."

The boy muttered something in a daze, then pulled the old man back.

The zombie in the suit tilted his head, his dull eyes shifting slightly as he stared at the rambling boy.

The boy seemed quite abnormal; it kept eating less so as not to become stupid.

The boy and the old man did not attack them, so they cannot yet be defined as food.

The zombie in the suit tried his best to appear innocent and weak, hoping that the other party would attack him.

It understood the emperor's meaning perfectly.

Captain, you can't eat this; you have to save it.

Other people can eat them if they attack them.

Unfortunately, the old man and the boy looked terrified and didn't dare to attack them at all.

"Charge! Or die!"

Captain Zhu pointed his pistol at the old man and the boy in front of him, his eyes slightly red.

He had to bring Little Song the zombie out.

He met the father and son on his way here. The old man had no special abilities, but the boy's abilities were quite unique.

He could sense that there was a huge difference in strength between himself and the boy. If he brought the boy over, there might still be a chance to enter the village.
