After the surgery, the intense brain pain did not just last once or twice.
Every few days, it felt like there was a blazing energy inside his head, burning his brain.
He doesn't remember most of these pains very clearly.
What he remembers most clearly is that after he survived the surgery, a few days later, he was indeed taken to an amusement park by his so-called father.
That was the first time he had ever left the hospital.
I saw other people, normal people besides the doctors and nurses.
They weren't like the people in the hospital, who were acting crazy and talking to themselves.
They seemed very busy, coming and going in a hurry.
He also saw many children his age.
The amusement park was crowded that day, and you had to queue for every ride to get a chance to play.
He was six years old that year, and he and his father went to an amusement park for the first time.
Not only because he survived the surgery, but also because he would face an even crueler life afterward.
That was the largest amusement park in S City, packed with people.
The six-year-old boy's face was full of excitement, and his father also had a rare, excited smile on his face.
The smile on his father's face wasn't just because they went to the amusement park together.
It wasn't because he personally put something into his son's head.
Little Wang Ge didn't understand any of this at the time; he only remembered that the sky was very blue that day and that everyone he met was kind.
What impressed him most was riding a Ferris wheel.
That day, he and his father went on the Ferris wheel. As the Ferris wheel slowly moved along, his little eyes excitedly looked at the ground getting farther and farther away.
The people on the ground are getting smaller and smaller, and their positions are getting higher and higher.
He was so excited he couldn't express it, leaning against the Ferris wheel like a fool, his small body trembling with excitement.
He looked up at his father, who sat upright in the center with a blank expression, as if it were just a routine matter.
"Dad, look, the people in front of us are taller than us!"
Little Wang Ge pointed his tiny finger at a carriage in front of him, his eyes wide open.
Dean Wang nodded slightly, his tone neither sad nor happy, "Yes, I saw it."
Xiao Wang's high spirits were suddenly dampened. He turned his head, leaned against the window of the carriage, and looked up slightly at the people in the previous carriage.
The people in the previous carriage were a happy family of four.
There is a seemingly gentle and refined father, a beautiful and intelligent mother, an obedient daughter, and... a son who seems to have something wrong with his head.
The little boy looked to be about the same age as me, and at that very moment, he was also leaning over the carriage.
In that instant, their eyes met.
The little boy smiled at him and waved vigorously.
He will always remember the smile of that little child that day.
The person who laughed was no different from the mentally disabled person in the mental hospital.
"Xiao Fan, stop swaying! If you keep swaying, I'll throw you off from the highest point!"
The seemingly gentle father grabbed the child by the collar and forced him into a chair.
Xiao Wangge was still leaning against the window of the train carriage, his eyes full of envy.
He didn't know what danger lay on the edge, but he felt that although the seemingly gentle father's tone was a bit stern, his eyes were full of love when he looked at the child.
He had never seen his father show him such an expression.
Over the years, among all of Wang Ge's painful memories, only the memories of going to the amusement park were happy.
The brief few minutes he spent with that warm family have stayed with him ever since.
That was probably the first time he had ever seen such a warm and loving family.
After many years, we met again.
No one will remember the boy who was under their carriage.
He won't bring it up either.
Prey is still prey.
Wang Ge suddenly opened his eyes in the black sedan, his once clear gaze now filled with hostility.
The look in his eyes when he looked at Dean Wang was no longer filled with expectation, but only with hostility.
"woke up?"
Dean Wang glanced at Wang Ge with his aged eyes, then continued driving forward.
The car window rolled down again, and a gentle breeze blew in.
As I get older, I always feel a bit uncomfortable inside a closed car.
Wang Ge ignored Dean Wang and continued to stick his foot out on the storage box in front of him in a very offensive manner.
Perhaps because he dreamed about things from his childhood, Wang Ge seemed somewhat depressed.
He had almost forgotten how simple his childhood requirements were.
His eyes, filled with hostility, swept around before finally settling on an old photograph.
The old photograph shows a very beautiful woman holding two children, who are about seven or eight years old, and whose features resemble Wang Ge.
A bright smile appeared on the woman's face.
Beside her was a man in a white coat.
All four of them had bright smiles on their faces, looking like a warm family of four.
Just like the family of four he had once seen on the Ferris wheel.
The two boys were said to be his two older brothers.
That woman was said to be his mother.
However, he had no recollection of it at all.
Because his two older brothers also underwent brain surgery, both of which failed and resulted in their deaths.
Then, his mother went insane because she couldn't bear the pain of losing her son.
He stayed in his own family's mental hospital.
Later, she gave birth to him.
So, even though Dean Wang is old enough to be his grandfather, he is actually just his father.
