"War?" Zhang Yiming's lips curled slightly, and he shook his head gently. "This doesn't count as war."
A war is one in which the two sides are evenly matched or have a large number of people on both sides.
The few people who come tomorrow are not enough to be called a war.
Here, he gradually stole the memories of nearby zombies through brainwaves, and he easily grasped Captain Zhu's movements.
There were only about a hundred people on the bus, no match for him.
So he didn't even call the zombie in the suit, but just sent Little Song the zombie from the zombie village.
He alone is enough in terms of combat power; he waits here alone for them to arrive.
He wasn't planning on going on a killing spree because she was there, and he couldn't kill too many humans.
Otherwise, none of the people who come will be able to leave.
Old Master Tao paused, his cloudy eyes dimming slightly.
Sure enough, he's just too old and can't keep up with the times, so his judgment isn't very sharp anymore?
He judged that many people would come tomorrow based solely on radio broadcasts, and he also possessed the ability to steal zombies' memories using brainwaves.
There are distance restrictions.
The young man in front of me doesn't seem to have this problem; he can keep track of news from thousands of miles away.
Old Tao shook his head, hunched over, and walked to the dug pit. He reached out and straightened the clothes of some villagers and zombies that had been disheveled while filling the pit, and then helped to fill the pit.
Her furrowed fingers carefully dug through the soil, but her eyes were fixed on Zhang Yiming.
Zhang Yiming gave him a terrifying yet sacred feeling, as if just looking at him would be blasphemy and lead to destruction.
Fortunately, he lived long enough to weather all sorts of storms and was able to barely lift his head and look straight ahead.
Taking advantage of his age.
"I am Peach Elder from Peach Village. May I ask who you are, young man...?"
A faint light flashed in Old Master Tao's eyes, and he asked.
The peaceful coexistence of humans and zombies cannot be achieved by him alone.
His abilities are limited to protecting the safety of the entire Peach Village.
He had a gut feeling that if the young man in front of him were willing, he might be able to turn this world into a relatively peaceful one.
“Zhang, Zhang Yiming,” Zhang Yiming said.
Old Tao's eyes twitched, and he suddenly remembered.
Zhang Yiming is the zombie king that the Fire Phoenix Security Base has been heavily promoting.
Tao Lao's impression of Zhang Yiming improved significantly instantly.
The Fire Phoenix Security Base has been promoting Zhang Yiming's name, even exposing his photos, and has been smearing his behavior and defaming his image.
This is tantamount to slapping Zhang Yiming in the face.
Zhang Yiming's brainwaves were terrifying, yet the Fire Phoenix Safe Base remained intact, which was enough to prove that Zhang Yiming was a "good" zombie.
At the very least, he is not inclined toward violence.
This was the most unexpected thing for Master Tao.
Such a zombie king must be one that can completely control its violent emotions.
"I am Peach Elder from Peach Village."
Old Tao, his body hunched over, took two steps toward Zhang Yiming, trying to ignore the young man's thoughts, and extended his hand, wanting to shake hands.
No matter how hard I tried to control my fear, my fingers still trembled involuntarily.
Brainwaves are truly terrifying.
The more terrifying it was, the happier Old Master Tao became.
As people get older, they become less willing to see bloodshed.
It would be something to look forward to if one day a super powerful zombie king could emerge and control all the zombies, maintaining a literal peace.
Zhang Yiming extended his hand expressionlessly, shook it politely, and quickly withdrew it.
Don't let his gentle appearance fool you; he actually dislikes interacting with others. He may have a mild look, but his personality is quite cold.
Only in front of Bai Xizhu would his heart soften and he be able to truly let down all his guard.
Old Tao sat down on the ground, hunched over, and started talking about village affairs, regardless of whether Zhang Yiming wanted to listen or not.
"When the apocalypse broke out, most of the villagers didn't have time to react, and many people turned into zombies before they even had a chance to escape. I was bitten without even realizing it, and that's how I ended up looking like this."
Old Tao looked at the moon with his aged eyes. Seeing that Zhang Yiming didn't react, he felt there was a chance and continued speaking on his own.
"After I discovered that I could control zombies, I gathered all the zombies in the village in one place. At first, the villagers were very afraid of us, and no one dared to come in front of us."
"I'm not in a hurry. I'll just lead the zombies in the village to plant trees, drive out the other zombies, and save the villagers who are being harassed by mutated animals."
"Gradually, the families of the zombie villagers began to come to me looking for their children, fathers, and parents."
"Even now, the zombies and humans in our village live in peace."
Old Tao paused here, and said meaningfully, "I'm old, my abilities are improving too slowly, and I don't have strong brainwaves anymore. If a king really emerges among the zombies, perhaps the world will move towards peace under his leadership."
"Peace?" Zhang Yiming chuckled softly. "Humans need zombie cores to enhance their abilities, and zombies need to devour flesh and blood to evolve. As long as one side is destroyed, peace can never be achieved."
"Yes, and Tao Village will achieve peace." Old Tao's voice was aged, yet it carried a hint of determination.
"Heh!" Zhang Yiming pointed his long finger at the zombies filling the pit and said, "They've been suppressed to the extreme, haven't they? You can still control them now, but once they reach a higher level, can you guarantee they won't eat people right under your nose? Can you guarantee they won't go out and bite people?"
