Everyone was eager to fight, ready to charge at any moment.
Old Tao was hunched over, his head bowed, not daring to look at Zhang Yiming, his body trembling slightly.
The remaining dozens of zombies were also trembling subconsciously, making creaking sounds, as if they might lose control and kneel on the ground at any moment.
The brainwaves didn't rage; in fact, Zhang Yiming even had a faint smile on his face.
The mere wisp of aura emanating from him was enough to bring Elder Tao, the Zombie King, to the brink of collapse.
The aura was so cold that even the zombies, whose bodies were devoid of warmth, were terrified.
Zhang Yiming's smile was as warm and sunny as ever, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
The bloodlust in his mind had almost reached its peak, but he managed to suppress it.
Those gentle eyes were always kind when they looked at each superhuman who spoke ill of them.
When anger reaches its extreme, it transforms into calm and composure.
He knew these people would die.
None of them will survive, and they won't even have the chance to become zombies.
He allowed others to insult him because he was the Zombie King; it was just a matter of being said a few words, so it wasn't too bad.
His self-control reached an abnormal level, to the point that he almost completely ignored the indifference and ridicule of others.
But one's Achilles' heel is not to be touched.
He was grateful that the Bai family treated him as a friend and not as an outsider.
This was his greatest comfort after turning into a zombie.
His carefully cherished feelings became, in these people's eyes, betrayal and trash.
These things are simply unacceptable.
Zhang Yiming slowly turned his head, glanced at the direction where the drone was placed, and looked at it with a hint of guilt in his eyes.
sorry.
Because of me, you heard these unpleasant voices.
"Let's stop talking about this. Before Zhang Yiming runs away, let's quickly subdue him. After we've dealt with all the zombies, we can discuss how to divide the spoils!"
Wang Biao roared, seemingly ready to charge forward at any moment, but he was always just a little bit short of strength.
I don't want to be the first cannon fodder.
The group looked at each other, then quickly glanced around. They didn't see any zombies lying in ambush. Victory was assured, but they didn't dare to be the first to try something new.
Captain Zhu snorted coldly, shook off the person holding him, and walked towards Little Song the zombie.
After a long separation, this time, Captain Zhu did not treat Xiao Song, the zombie, as a burden. Just like before the apocalypse, he regarded him as the best police officer of the future.
Little Song, the zombie, stared blankly at Captain Zhu, his eyes devoid of any emotion. Like all zombies, his rotting brain was consumed by a craving for flesh and blood.
It is waiting.
Waiting for the emperor's command, it can pounce and have a feast.
Hehe--
Xiao Song made a suppressed sound in his throat.
The sound was so soft that Captain Zhu didn't notice it for a moment.
The superhumans were all staring intently at Zhang Yiming, and no one noticed that Captain Zhu's hand had already been placed on Xiao Song's zombie shoulder.
Perhaps it was the long-awaited reunion, or perhaps it was seeing that Xiao Song, the zombie, hadn't pounced on him for the first time without being chained up, that made Captain Zhu lower his guard.
In a daze, I was transported back to the scene before the apocalypse when we were chasing a criminal suspect together.
"roar--"
Little Song, the zombie, finally let out a roar like a wild beast.
Without hesitation, the rotting mouth bit down on the arm that was so close at hand.
For a moment, Captain Zhu looked blankly at the zombie Xiao Song who was tearing at his arm.
It seemed as if it didn't recognize the hideous zombie in front of it!
"Ah! A zombie has bitten Captain Zhu! Everyone, don't hesitate any longer, rush up and wipe out the zombie together!"
A gasp rippled through the crowd. As Little Song's zombie opened its mouth to bite, the superpowered individuals' abilities emitted a dazzling light.
None of these colorful energies were aimed at Xiao Song the zombie; their enemies were Zhang Yiming and Tao Lao.
In the apocalypse, being scratched or bitten by a zombie means you are dead.
Even if Captain Zhu hasn't turned into a zombie yet, he's already an enemy.
Zhang Yiming calmly watched the colorful energy flying towards him.
Many hands make light work. The supernatural abilities emanating from more than a hundred people converged into a small energy storm, scorching and deforming the air, causing it to visibly distort.
Old Tao narrowed his eyes slightly, his body radiating a rich green light that fell directly on the dozens of zombies he had brought with him.
These are his villagers; he brought them here and will bring them all back safely.
Dozens of zombie villagers stood frozen in place. Some of the zombies that had regained some consciousness stared blankly at the energy storm in front of them, and moved in terror toward Elder Tao.
Old Tao, his body hunched over, felt his heart leap into his throat, but he did not retaliate. His cloudy eyes glanced at the calm Zhang Yiming.
I relaxed instantly.
Just as the energy storm was about to touch Zhang Yiming, red flames suddenly burst forth from Zhang Yiming's body.
The flames seemed even hotter than the sun in the sky, rushing towards the energy storm like a fire dragon.
The flames multiplied, spreading across the sky and enveloping all the energy within them, forming a massive fireball.
The enormous fireball was incredibly hot; even from a distance, the skin was almost burned through, immediately turning red and swollen.
Everyone could smell the protein on their own bodies.
