Black saliva dripped from the hyena's mouth, its eyes fixed fiercely on the rotting bodies behind the Bai family members.
It completely ignored the Bai family members; in its eyes, the dead corpses were the most dangerous thing.

The dragon is powerful, but it is not particularly useful to the water serpent and offers it no benefit whatsoever.
They're not even in the same league.
It's not about who's stronger or who's higher-ranking, but about the unique characteristics of the animals themselves.
"Are you sure you won't eat anything from the dragon's body?"
Bai Xizhu suddenly remembered that life nurtured in such a special place as the space should not need to eat "ordinary" things on Earth, right?
"Of course I won't eat it! It's just a dragon! I'm so powerful, I don't need to eat it to nourish my body!" the water snake muttered to itself. "It would be even better if it were alive. I could befriend it and ask it if it has any pretty little dragon sisters!"
