Chapter 662 East China Sea

Bai Yifan, sitting in the driver's seat, shook his head slightly upon hearing their conversation.

He stepped on the gas pedal slightly and charged straight at the two zombies not far ahead.

With a loud bang.

One zombie was knocked far away by Bai Yifan, and another zombie roared and chased after the bus, its face contorted in a ferocious grimace.

Bai Yifan slowly exhaled, and seeing the lone zombie in the rearview mirror, he felt slightly relieved.

Sure enough, the person being fed dog food can only feel happy after spilling the dog food.

Bai Yifan glanced silently at Bai Xizhu and Leng Yebai, who were huddled together talking, and continued to squint at the zombies in front of him.

Bai Yifan has developed another obsessive-compulsive disorder.

An even number of zombies must collide with an odd number!

The bus kept bumping and banging along the way, and it wasn't until the sun was about to set that it finally stopped in front of a stretch of sea.

The seawater looked incredibly blue, and even though there were some zombie animals in it, it didn't pollute the seawater at all.

The ocean is vast and can contain far too many things, even the terrifying zombie virus.

Zombie-infested oceans teem with normal fish swimming alongside them.

There were no zombies in the vicinity of the sea, and occasionally some stranded marine life could be seen on the beach where the waves had receded.

Among these marine creatures, you can occasionally see some zombie fish whose bodies are rotting but are still jumping around.

They are small and appear harmless, yet they are ubiquitous.

If you accidentally step on them and they happen to bite through your shoes, you will be infected with the zombie virus.

The small fish's body was mostly hollow, but because its head was very hard, the contents inside hadn't fallen out, so it was still "alive".

Bai Yifan consciously didn't get out of the car. It was lunchtime, and they hadn't stopped along the way. It was getting dark, and they needed to replenish their energy quickly.

The bus's freezer was well-stocked with supplies, including many pre-prepared semi-finished products, so Bai Yifan didn't need to go through much trouble cooking.

Leng Yebai, Bai Xizhu, and Shui Huiqin arrived at the beach, attempting to find the direction the base leader had gone.

Under Qin Yuan's direction, the two arrived at a man-made platform.

This platform has been around for a long time and can be considered a pay-to-win game within a tourist attraction. You can ride a jet ski around here.

And from here, you can also take a boat to leave.

The base commander disappeared here, and even Qin Yuan and Shui Hui couldn't detect his next move.

This boundless sea stretches out in all directions, connecting to several other seas.

They had no idea where the base commander had gone.

Not only did they not know where the base commander had gone, they also didn't know why he had gone to the sea.

Even though land is already considered dangerous, he wouldn't go to the sea, even if he has powerful superpowers.

unless……

"Zhang Gong went to the South China Sea, what is he doing in the East China Sea?!"

Leng Yebai frowned as he looked at the azure sea, and immediately realized that the base commander's actions must be related to Zhang Gong.

Zhang Gong knew that he had gone to the safe base and that he had left Bai Xizhu. He didn't mention that they were going to the sea at all, only that they were going to Kunlun Mountain.

Why did the base commander go to the East China Sea at this time?

Did Zhang Gong return to the safe base, or did the base commander discover something else and go to the East China Sea without saying a word?

Bai Xizhu couldn't figure it out.

She thought that she had lived through three years of the apocalypse and had unique survival experience in the apocalypse.

But as she traveled to more and more places and her horizons broadened, she realized that what she saw was merely the perspective of an ordinary superhuman.

I saw zombies and I saw a lack of supplies.

Another phenomenon that cannot be ignored and is difficult to explain is now facing Bai Xizhu.

Besides zombies, some super-powerful creatures have also appeared in the world. You could call them mutated animals, since they seem to have started to increase in number after the apocalypse.

However, they also appear in folk tales, and their existence seems to have never been accidental.

And then there's the seabed.

The underwater world is even more diverse and colorful. There were already many unknown creatures, and after the energy tides arrived, more and more strange and energetic creatures appeared.

These things can only be seen by those with strong abilities. If you stay in a safe base, you will only see terrifying zombies and will have no chance to discover that the earth has quietly changed into a new landscape that is impossible to see.

Earth is becoming more and more mysterious.

Just as Bai Xizhu and Bai Yifan were staring blankly at the East China Sea, Bai Yifan's voice came from afar.

"Sis! Brother Leng! Dinner's ready! We're having dumplings today!"

Bai Yifan's voice was loud and clear, without any hoarseness.

Bai Xizhu's lips twitched violently when she heard Bai Yifan's shout.

My own brother, my own flesh and blood, I can't hit him. He's already not very bright, hitting him would only make him worse!

In such a dangerous world, my brother actually shouted for her to eat, he's really... too naive (stupid)!

Three plates of dumplings were already on the table, handmade and frozen in the freezer. Bai Yifan boiled water and cooked them directly.

All the ingredients used are from the space itself; the dumplings and sour soup are cooked with spiritual spring water. Eating a plate of them is truly delightful.

"Sis, there are two more plates over in the kitchen, they're all for you. Let me know if you can't finish them!"

Bai Yifan blinked, then buried his head in his food.

He cooked five plates of dumplings: one for himself, one for Brother Leng, and three for his older sister.
