The dark figure is moving towards the shore!
Bai Yifan was startled, fearing some danger, and ran two steps toward the bus, his eyes fixed on the dark figure, as if it were a monster from the sea.
The white cat suddenly became agitated, its sharp claws emerging from its thick paw pads, and a suppressed growl emanated from its throat.
The kind that's always ready to pounce and scratch.
"Don't make a sound. If there's any danger, we'll run to the bus immediately. Don't rush over there!"
Bai Yifan patted the white cat poised to pounce on his shoulder and drew the dagger strapped to his leg.
Surprisingly, as the shadowy figure drew closer, Bai Yifan's heartbeat became more and more stable, and he was no longer so afraid.
The white cat, however, looked extremely terrified and fierce, on the verge of collapse.
Ten minutes later, Bai Yifan was finally able to see clearly that the dark shadow floating on the sea was a human figure.
Bai Yifan didn't know whether it was a zombie or a human, but he thought he should be able to handle it.
He's a man who's beaten up the Zombie King; even if the Zombie King floats over, he can't hurt him.
"Meow—"
The white cat's silky fur was standing on end, ready to pounce at any moment.
Anyone who didn't know better would think that the white cat and the dark figure had some deep-seated grudge!
The truth is that after being rescued by Bai Yifan at the Fire Phoenix Safe Base, the white cat has been staying in the space ever since, and today was the longest it has ever spent outside.
There shouldn't be any enemies here!
Bai Yifan grew increasingly curious about the dark figure. He simply picked up the restless white cat and stared intently at the shadowy figure.
Ten minutes later, Bai Yifan finally managed to vaguely make out the face of the dark figure.
It was Brother Zhang?
Bai Yifan never expected it to be Zhang Yiming. He immediately ran towards the shore. In his heart, Zhang Yiming had always been a gentle older brother.
He possesses powerful superpowers and can command zombies; being around him is absolutely safe and there will be no danger.
Bai Yifan had never considered this question: he had just seen Zhang Yiming in Yang Village yesterday, so how could he possibly be floating over the sea from afar today?
The answer is that the one that floated over wasn't Zhang Yiming, but the Zombie King, Zhang Yiming.
