Chapter 24 Don't Hide From Me
The exam rooms were assigned to the arts and science classes, with students being assigned to the exam rooms in order of their grades. Yan Sui had done well in the last monthly exam, placing in the top 30 in her grade. This time, she was assigned to Science Class 1 for the midterm exam.
I finished the last essay and there were still thirty minutes left before the exam ended.
Yan Sui slowly relaxed her shoulders, placed the pen in her hand on the test paper, and gently rubbed the dent on her middle finger with her thumb.
The examination room was quiet, with two invigilators standing at the front and back of the classroom.
After Yan Sui checked her paper, there were still about ten minutes left. Unable to concentrate, she took off her glasses and gazed out the window to relax.
The autumn weather was windy, and the ginkgo tree branches by the window were swaying in the wind. The golden ginkgo leaves were blown down one by one and landed all over the ground.
Separated by a window, Yan Sui could not feel the wind outside, but just by looking at it, she could feel the loneliness of the autumn wind.
She gradually became dazed.
After the exams today and tomorrow, she will go to check the address on the invoice she found in Yan Zhaoting's study.
She consulted a lawyer about the photos taken at the mall last time, but they were not enough to prove that Yan Zhaoting had cheated on her, and she could not kick him out of the marriage.

Yan Sui put down the pen in her hand, handed in the paper, and returned to the classroom with Chen Ling who was in the next examination room.
With more than half an hour left before the next exam, most students will choose to go back to the classroom to rest.
Chen Ling had a stomach upset in the morning, so she went to the bathroom before reaching the classroom. She threw her pencil case and books to Yan Sui and asked her to take them back for her.
When Yan Sui returned to the classroom, it was noisy.
In addition to the students in their class, some other students in this examination room also stayed here.
Yu Shuli stood beside Yan Sui's desk, holding a pen in his hand, and leaning over Qin Yuanjia to draw on the table, not knowing what they were doing.

Yu Shuli's hand holding the thing froze and he stood there in a daze.
Qin Yuanjia didn't notice the strangeness between the two of them. She casually pulled out the chair in front of her and sat down. "Thank you, Yan Sui. How did you do on the exam?"
Yan Sui pulled out the water cup from the hole in the table and replied casually, "Not bad."
After getting their things, Yan Sui and Qin Yuanjia nodded: "Okay, you two can chat."
After saying that, she didn't even look at Yu Shuli again, and walked to the corridor outside the classroom with her books in her arms.
Before leaving the classroom, she heard Qin Yuanjia's voice amidst the clamor inside, "Sit down, Shuli. Why are you standing?"

Arriving at the corridor, Yan Sui found a quiet place to stand. Just as she was about to open her textbook, a voice suddenly came from behind her.
"Yan Sui." Yan Sui paused for thought.
"I've cleared the space, you can go back and read!" Yu Shuli stood beside her and whispered.
Following his words, Yan Sui glanced at the seat in front of the window. The things on the table had been cleared away, and Qin Yuanjia, who had just sat down at her table, was nowhere to be seen.
She looked up at the person beside her. Yu Shuli was standing only an arm's length away from her.
Unlike when they first met in the morning, Yu Shuli's eyes didn't have the same light as in the morning, and there was a hint of caution in his tone when he approached her.
Yu Shuli did not hide his emotions, so Yan Sui sensed his emotions just by looking at him.
But she was not going to pay attention.
Yan Sui took a step back, putting some distance between herself and Yu Shuli: "No need, I'll be back soon."
Just then, Chen Ling came back from the bathroom. "Sui Sui? Why are you standing outside?"
Yan Sui turned around and said, "It's too stuffy in there."
"Is that so? Then wait for me. I'll go in and get my things so we can go to the exam room early!"
"Uh-huh."
Chen Ling was very fast. In just over ten seconds, before Yu Shuli had time to speak, she came out with the things and said, "Let's go, Sui Sui!"
Yan Sui nodded and walked past Yu Shuli.
"Let's go!"
Chen Ling naturally took her arm and walked towards the stairwell with Yan Sui.
Yan Sui continued Chen Ling's words in a disjointed manner, and the scorching gaze behind her never disappeared. When she turned the corner, Yan Sui glanced at her out of the corner of her eyes.
Yu Shuli still stood there.
She paused, but didn't look back.
"By the way, Sui Sui, who was that boy standing in front of you just now? Is he your friend?"
Yan Sui opened her mouth and uttered "Ah", then remained silent for a moment before slowly replying, "Tan Shu's classmate wants to ask me something."
"Oh, I see."

The morning exam is over and it is already twelve o'clock.
After doing test papers for the whole morning, Yan Sui felt that her body had consumed a lot of energy and she felt weak when she walked.
During the midterm exam, No. 1 Middle School rarely opened the school gate during the lunch break.
Wen Qingman invited them to have some stir-fried dishes together outside the school. Chen Ling didn't want to go to the cafeteria, so after hearing this suggestion, she immediately turned to ask Yan Sui for her opinion.

Yan Sui had just sat down at the table and was about to pack up the books and put them into the drawer when her eyes stopped at a graffiti on the corner of the table, and the action of putting the books in her hand stopped.
In the corner of the khaki desk, a little man drawn in pencil was squatting there crying. Below it were words written in pencil as well:
"Yan Sui, why have you been avoiding me lately?"
It's said that a person's handwriting can best express their emotions. Yu Shuli's handwriting was a bit sloppy, much messier than his usual regular script. It was as if he was telling her how upset he was when he wrote that.

After the afternoon exam, Yan Sui returned to the classroom as usual.

Please don't hide from me.
Yan Sui stared at the little man at the corner of the table without blinking.

Yan Sui said "hmm" and stared straight at the road ahead.

"Is it about Tan Shu?"
