Chapter 6 Chapter06 Chaotic Time

Chapter 6 Chapter06 Chaotic Time

"Yan Sui, the music teacher wants you to go to her office."

Yan Sui said "Oh" and put the cap of the pen in her hand back on.

Chen Ling also stopped writing, glanced around, and whispered to Yan Sui, "Are you looking for you to talk about the choir?"

Yan Sui nodded: "That should be it."

She pulled the test paper out from the hole in the desk and placed it on the table, pressing it down with her pencil case. "Lingling, can you hand it in for me when the class representative comes to collect my paper?"

Chen Ling made an "OK" gesture to her.

The music teacher's office is on the third floor of the Arts Building. The corridor connecting to their teaching building can be walked through directly, without having to go around to the first floor and climb the stairs again.

Yan Sui's class is on the second floor, and the third and fourth floors above are the science classes.

When I went upstairs, it was get out of class time. The students in the corridor were in a mess, but there were only a few people standing in front of one class.

The gap between the stairwell and the corridor allows you to see into the classroom. The students in the classroom are sitting neatly in their seats, and there are occasionally a few people walking around holding a few books in their hands.

Yan Sui searched the small area in front of the window, but didn't find Tan Shu.

Just as she was about to look away, the person sitting by the aisle window came back.

The boy sat down while twisting the lid of his water cup. After putting the cup back on the windowsill, he picked up the glasses on the table, put them on, and began to read.

He wasn't very nearsighted, but he always wore glasses when studying. In his senior year of high school, after evening study, he came to her class and did homework with her.

Yan Sui remembered that the questions on the test were not difficult, but he and she still stayed in the classroom until eleven o'clock before leaving.

It wasn't because of the questions on the test paper, but because of the beating of his heart when he sat next to her.

She listened to the entire question absentmindedly, finger-pointing at it. It wasn't until the very end that Yu Shuli realized she hadn't been paying attention. They exchanged an awkward smile, but for some reason, the atmosphere changed as they laughed.

Yu Shuli took off his glasses and slowly approached her.

The ambiguous atmosphere ended only when the school bell rang at 11 o'clock.

In the end, the kiss didn't land on her lips.

.

Yan Sui looked away before the system in her mind popped up.

Beneath her calm expression, her pounding heart couldn't conceal her current emotions. The system replied coldly, "Host, I've noticed that you're experiencing significant emotional fluctuations right now."

Yan Sui felt a little embarrassed and explained dryly, "I'm probably nervous about what I'm going to say later."

The system asked: "Host, are you talking about rejecting the choir later?"

"Well, I'm sorting out the wording."

"Host, the butterfly effect of certain things may not be as we initially expected. Please be prepared."

Yan Sui was stunned for a moment, and just as she was about to ask more questions, the system's radio waves in her mind were disconnected.

She knew what this sentence meant and had a bad feeling in her heart.

Yan Sui walked towards the office door across the corridor.

As long as she enters that gate, all her connections with Yu Shuli will be cut off.

They will never know each other again.

Thinking of this, I felt a hint of sadness instead of being happy about the mission being completed, and even my steps slowed down.

.

"Report."

"Come in."

There was only one music teacher in the office who taught their class. As soon as Yan Sui walked over, the teacher put down the lesson plan in her hand, looked up and said bluntly: "I heard from your homeroom teacher that you don't want to join the choir anymore? Why?"

Yan Sui had already prepared an excuse in her mind: "Teacher, I went back and discussed this with my family. My parents feel that since I'm in my second year of high school, joining the choir will hinder my academic progress. They found me a cram school after school, and my spare time is full of studying. I don't have the energy to join the school choir anymore."

Moving out to study is a universal reason.

As expected, after she said this, the music teacher's mood immediately dimmed. He opened his mouth as if he wanted to refute, but because of this reason, he had nowhere to refute.

Finally, she sighed, "Because of studying, there's nothing I can do about it. The teacher wants you to join the choir because of your performance in the top ten in your freshman year. Although the choir won't take up much of your time, I still respect your choice."

"Sorry, teacher." Yan Sui apologized softly.

The music teacher waved her hand. "No need to apologize for such a small matter. I called you here just to ask why. We understand that it's for the sake of studying. Class is about to start, so go back!"

Yan Sui nodded and closed the office door when she left.

She looked at her watch. It was not time for class yet. The next class was physical education, and the students in the class would gather directly on the playground.

Just as she was about to return to the teaching building to the classroom, change clothes and go downstairs, Tan Shu suddenly jumped out from the corner and scared her.

Seeing that his prank was successful, Tan Shuqing couldn't stop laughing against the wall: "How could you be so defenseless that you were scared by this?"

Yan Sui's brows were stained with anger: "Don't be so scary, okay!"

"Okay, I won't do that next time!"

"How did you know I was here?"

"I just saw you coming out of the music classroom across the street," Tan Shu said, smiling as he bumped into her shoulder. "Why? Did you go to the music office to discuss the choir?"

Yan Sui found a clean railing to lean on: "Well, it's just asking why I didn't go."

Tan Shu stopped what he was doing in astonishment: "Ah? Why didn't you go?"

She and Tan Shu won second place in the top ten, and the choir was invited by the teacher to participate. Tan Shu was very happy about this and hugged her, saying that they could perform on a bigger stage together.

Yan Sui felt guilty towards Tan Shu about her sudden withdrawal from the choir, but she had no other choice.

She had promised the system, and she knew that she and Yu Shuli were not allowed to get close to each other.

If you are sure you want to go back, you must give up your relationship with Yu Shuli.

"Why?"

[There are thousands of possibilities in a person's time, but the reason you and him ended up like this is because you were wrong from the beginning.]

[You and he each have your own other line]

[When you two come together, no matter what choice you make, it will cause harm to both of you. The only correct path is separation.]

"I'm here to correct you on this line. If you agree, please press the button in front of you."

Yan Sui had no choice but to go back to the past and change the rules of her family.

As for Yu Shuli, she didn't blame him for leaving, but since she already knew what choice the 27-year-old Yu Shuli would make, she went back to the past and personally severed all contact between the two when they were 17 years old.

.

They ran 800 meters in today's physical education class. After the class, Yan Sui's forehead was covered with sweat, and the hair on her forehead was soaked with sweat and stuck to her forehead.

She borrowed Chen Ling's tissue to wipe the sweat off her forehead, and she felt a lot refreshed.

"It's so hot, Sui Sui. I want to go to the store to buy some drinks. Do you want to go?"

Yan Sui shook her head: "You go ahead! My period is coming soon and I won't drink anything cold recently."

"Okay, can you take my clothes back for me?"

"OK."

After class, most of the students in the class walked towards the canteen, and only a few students walked with her towards the classroom.

Before returning to the classroom, Yan Sui went to the water room to get some water. When she came out of the water room, all the students in their class in the corridor had already returned to their classrooms.

Yan Sui walked towards the classroom with a lot on her mind, and the conversation she had just had with Tan Shu emerged in her mind.

Having personally severed the cause of their acquaintance in their previous life, she felt an indescribable complexity in her emotions.

But no matter what, she thought, this was the best ending for both of them.

Just as she finally calmed down and prepared to return to the classroom to pack her bag, she saw a boy in a blue and white school uniform at the classroom door. The boy, with his backpack slung over one shoulder and his elbow resting on the corridor railing, stared at the teaching building across the way with a slightly worried look on his face.

Yan Sui stopped in her tracks for a moment and was about to turn around and leave when a girl jumped out from the other side where she was blocked by the boys.

Seeing her standing in the corridor, Tan Shu's eyes lit up and he raised his hand to greet her: "Sui Sui!"

Yan Sui paused, neither going forward nor stopping.

The boy was attracted by Tan Shu's words and turned to face her. The sad look on his face disappeared, and his fingers couldn't help but scratch the strap of his schoolbag on his shoulder, looking at her with bright eyes.

Yan Sui: “…”

At the same time, she heard intermittent radio waves in her mind.

Yan Sui questioned the system in her mind: "Why is Yu Shuli here? Didn't I reject the choir?"

System: "He came here with Tan Shu."

"Is this what you mean by the butterfly effect causing something different from the outcome we expected?"

"Yes, host, but I was just reminding you that something different might happen, but I didn't expect him to appear here with Tan Shu."

Yan Sui: “…”
