Chapter 162 Grandfather's Family Dinner, First Show of Strength

Grandfather put away his sword, smiled, touched Siyan's head, and said, "As long as you work hard, you will succeed one day. This sword technique not only strengthens the body, but also teaches people perseverance and courage."

Nian Li also said in a baby voice, "Grandpa, I want to learn too! I want to be as awesome as you!"

Grandfather looked at the two lovely children with a look of satisfaction in his eyes. "Okay, when you grow up a little bit, I will teach you," he said.

Su Jinli stood aside, watching this heartwarming scene, feeling a surge of emotion. She recalled her mother bringing her to her maternal grandparents' home when she was little, and how her grandfather, then, had been so energetic and vibrant. Although time had left its mark on him, his love for life and care for his family had never changed.

In the days that followed, Siyan and Nianli spent a joyful time at their grandparents' home. They played with their grandfather in the tea garden and learned how to pick and process tea leaves. Grandfather patiently taught them how to distinguish different varieties of tea, explaining its growth habits and production techniques. The children listened with rapt interest, filled with curiosity and love for the tea garden.

One day, a few local bullies arrived at the tea garden. They were known for their tyranny and oppression of the people. Hearing that my grandfather's tea garden was of high quality, they decided to extort money. They swaggered into the garden and yelled at my grandfather and the children as they worked.

"Old man, I heard that the tea from your tea garden is very good! If you know what's good for you, just hand over some money, or you'll be in trouble!" said the leading bully arrogantly.

Siyan and Nianli hid behind their grandfather, their eyes filled with fear. But their grandfather remained calm. He gently patted the children's shoulders, signaling them not to be afraid. Then, he stepped forward and looked at the bullies with a determined gaze.

"You guys do so many evil things on a normal day, and yet you dare to come to my tea garden and act wildly today! I tell you, this is not the place for you to act wildly!" My grandfather's voice was loud and majestic, echoing in the tea garden like a huge bell.

The bullies, instead of being frightened, burst into laughter. "Old man, don't be so ungrateful! You think you can stop us?" They rushed forward, ready to attack.

At that moment, my grandfather flashed like a bolt of black lightning, appearing in the midst of the bullies. In his hand, a long sword had appeared. His sword danced with ferocious movements, and after a few rounds, the bullies were beaten to a pulp, falling to the ground and begging for mercy.

"Have mercy! We won't do it again!" the bullies cried.

Si Yan and Nian Li looked at their grandfather's bravery with admiration in their eyes. "Grandpa, you are so awesome!" Si Yan exclaimed.

Grandfather put away his sword and said to the children with a smile, "Children, when you encounter bad people, don't be afraid. Face them bravely. Justice will always triumph over evil."

After this incident, Siyan and Nianli admired their grandfather even more. They also understood that in order to protect themselves and their families, they must have enough ability and courage.

As the days passed, Su Jinli watched the children grow up happily in her maternal home, feeling immensely comforted. She knew that this land, filled with warmth and strength, would provide the children with a unique growth experience. And she, along with her children, would carry these beautiful memories with her as they continued into the future.

On a sunny day, Su Jinli, Siyan, and Nianli reluctantly bid farewell to their grandparents' home. Grandfather stood at the door, watching them leave, his eyes filled with reluctance. "Come back often when you have time!" Grandfather shouted.

"I know, Grandpa! We will miss you!" Si Yan and Nian Li responded, waving their little hands.

As the carriage slowly drove away, Su Jinli gazed out the window at her grandparents' home, which gradually receded into the distance. She silently thought to herself, "This place will always be their spiritual haven. No matter where they go, they will never forget this wonderful time." Meanwhile, Siyan and Nianli gradually grew and began to show their potential during this experience. Their future was filled with endless possibilities.
