Jiang Xiaohuang and Mo Chen joyfully returned to the capital, their precious secret recipe for steamed buns in hand. The news spread like a sudden spring breeze, sweeping across the Prime Minister's residence and causing quite a stir. Upon learning of this, Nian Li was both infuriated and amused. She grabbed Jiang Xiaohuang's ear and feigned angrily scolding her, muttering, "You little girl, you've been away for so long without a word, you've made your mother so worried." However, despite her scolding, Nian Li felt deeply for her daughter. Rather than blaming her excessively, she swiftly took action, leveraging the connections and resources of the Prime Minister's residence to help Jiang Xiaohuang find a suitable storefront, enabling her to open the "World's Best Steamed Bun Shop" she had always dreamed of.
On the day the bun shop opened, the sun shone brightly, the sky a sapphire blue, as if the heavens were cheering for this festive occasion. The streets and alleys were filled with the blaring of gongs and drums, the crackling of firecrackers, and the bustling atmosphere seemed to set the entire capital on fire. Jiang Xiaohuang had carefully selected a beautiful dress, its hem as light and flowing as a flower. Like a cheerful little bird, she stood at the entrance of the bun shop, greeting every customer with a beaming smile. Meanwhile, Mo Chen busied himself silently in the shop, helping to set up the tables and chairs, then assisting the shop assistants in preparing the steamers, his work filled with joy.
"Xiao Huang, why are you asking Mo Chen for help with your bun shop?" Young Marquis Su swaggered over, carrying his iconic sword (though it was a toy, it was still impressive). He feigned seriousness, his eyes wide as he stared at Mo Chen and said, "If he dares to bully you, I, your uncle, will not let him off. I'll chop him down for you!"
Seeing this, Mo Chen hurriedly bowed respectfully and said sincerely, "Uncle, don't worry. I will take good care of Xiao Huang and will never let her suffer any injustice."
Jiang Xiaohuang couldn't help but curl her lips after hearing this and said, "Uncle, don't worry about it. Mo Chen is a good man. He has helped me a lot along the way."
Just then, Jiang Yan and Nian Li arrived hand in hand. They watched their daughter bustling about in the bun shop, their eyes filled with satisfaction and doting. Their smiles were like the warm sun on a winter's day, gentle and warm.
"Dad, Mom, please try the buns I made!" Jiang Xiaohuang was like a child who had obtained a favorite toy. She excitedly held a plate of steaming buns and handed it to her parents like a treasure.
Nian Li gently picked up a bun, took a bite, and her eyes suddenly lit up. She exclaimed in admiration: "Oh, it's delicious! This taste is absolutely amazing!"
Jiang Yan also took a bite and nodded in praise, "Mm, it's really good, much better than what my father made."
Business at the "Number One Baozi Shop in the World" was booming, with a constant stream of people coming to sample the buns. This was due not only to the incredibly delicious and unforgettable flavor of the buns, but also to the fame of Jiang Xiaohuang, the daughter of the Prime Minister's family. People in the capital had long heard that the daughter of the Prime Minister's family had opened a bun shop, and with curiosity and anticipation, they flocked to the shop. For a time, the shop was bustling with activity.
That day, the bun shop was bustling as usual. Jiang Xiaohuang was weaving through the crowd, warmly greeting customers. Suddenly, she spotted a familiar figure sitting in a corner. Upon closer inspection, she saw it was the leader of the demonic cult. He was in disguise, wearing simple clothing. If it weren't for Jiang Xiaohuang's keen eyesight, she would have been hard-pressed to recognize him.
Jiang Xiaohuang walked over in surprise and asked softly, "Grandpa Master, why are you here?"
The leader looked at her with a kind smile on his face and said, "I came here specially to taste the best buns in the world."
Mo Chen also noticed the leader and quickly put down his work and walked over to greet him. The leader looked at him and Jiang Xiaohuang, his eyes revealing a hint of relief and emotion. He said to Mo Chen meaningfully, "Mo Chen, your mother's illness is much better now, thanks to you."
Mo Chen's eyes were filled with gratitude after hearing this, and he said respectfully, "Thank you, Master, for your help. If it weren't for your generosity, my mother wouldn't be in such good shape today."
The leader nodded slightly, looked at Jiang Xiaohuang again, and turned to Mo Chen and said, "This girl is kind-hearted, lively and cute. You must treat her well."
Mo Chen's face flushed red all the way to his ears, like a shy boy. Jiang Xiaohuang, however, didn't understand the deeper meaning behind the leader's words. She just smiled and nodded, then went back to serving other guests.
In the bun shop, Jiang Xiaohuang was like a tireless little top, working tirelessly. Mo Chen, beside her, lovingly wiped the sweat from her forehead, his eyes filled with tenderness and concern, as if she were the most precious treasure in the world. Young Marquis Su stood at the door, shouting at the top of his lungs, "Come and try the buns from the best bun shop in the world! They're delicious, affordable, and fair to everyone!" He looked like a dedicated waiter. Su Qingyao also arrived, bringing her newly developed rouge, to show her support. Others from the Prime Minister's residence also arrived, gathering together in a bustling atmosphere, as if the entire residence had moved into the bun shop.
Jiang Xiaohuang felt a surge of warmth in her heart as she watched the warm and lively scene unfold before her. She suddenly felt that this was the taste of happiness. She remembered her grandmother's words: to transform life's grievances into sweet honey. Now, not only did she feel happiness herself, but she also shared it with everyone through this bun shop.
At night, the capital, which had been bustling all day, gradually quieted down. The bun shop also ended its day's business and closed. Jiang Xiaohuang was so tired that she slumped in the chair, as if her bones were about to fall apart. Mo Chen looked at her with distress, hurriedly brought her a basin of hot water, and asked softly, "Xiaohuang, are you tired?"
