As the two were talking, they suddenly heard a loud noise coming from outside the garden. Su Jinli frowned and said, "What's going on? It seems like something happened again."
Jiang Yan stood in front of Su Jinli and said, "I'll go take a look." Then he walked towards the direction of the sound. Su Jinli followed closely behind Jiang Yan, with a vague feeling of foreboding.

The confidant stiffened his neck and said stubbornly, "I didn't do anything! Why are you arresting me?"
Young Marquis Su came running over from behind and shouted, "Hmph, you're still being stubborn! I just saw you sneaking around the garden with my own eyes. You definitely have bad intentions!"
At this moment, a servant searched the confidant's body and found a small bottle. He handed it to Su Jinli. Su Jinli took the bottle, opened it, and sniffed it. Her face instantly turned cold. She glared at the confidant and shouted, "What is this? Is it poison? Tell me, did Liu ask you to use it to harm me?"
The confidant's face turned pale, and he stammered, unable to speak. Su Jinli looked at him, her heart simmering with rage. She turned to the servants and said, "Take him to the front hall and wait for father to deal with him. I want to see what tricks Liu can come up with!"
The servants responded and escorted the confidant to the front hall. Su Jinli, Jiang Yan, and the others followed. Along the way, Su Jinli's mind was filled with thoughts. She knew the struggle with the Liu family was far from over, but she was fully prepared and would not let them succeed again.
When they arrived at the front hall, Su Xiang had already learned the news and was sitting in the main seat. The servant brought the confidant before Su Xiang, who looked at him gloomily and asked, "Why were you sneaking around the garden, carrying poison? Did Liu Shi send you there?"

Upon hearing this, Liu was filled with despair, yet she dared not resist, so she was led away weepingly by the servants. Su Jinli watched Liu's departing figure, feeling a mixture of emotions. Although Liu had been punished for the time being, she knew the struggle wasn't truly over.
Su Xiang looked at Su Jinli, his eyes full of guilt, and said: "Jinli, I am sorry for you. I have wronged you all these years. From now on, I will not let anyone hurt you again."
Su Jinli walked forward, held her father's hand, and said, "Dad, don't say that. Let the past be the past. Now that we are together as a family, that is the greatest happiness."
Jiang Yan also said, "Don't worry, father-in-law. I will protect this family with Jinli."
Su Xiang nodded with satisfaction and said, "Having sensible children like you is a blessing for a father. Well, let's end today's matter here, and everyone should stop worrying about it."
After this incident, Su Jinli and Jiang Yan's return to the Prime Minister's residence, though fraught with twists and turns, has also strengthened the family's bond. That night, Su Jinli and Jiang Yan stayed at the Prime Minister's residence. Moonlight streamed into their room. Su Jinli nodded and gradually fell asleep in Jiang Yan's arms. The two packed up and came to Su Xiang's yard. When Su Xiang saw them, he smiled with satisfaction and said, "You are here, come and have breakfast. Today, let's have a good family gathering."
So, the family sat around the table, eating breakfast, talking and laughing. Su Jinli looked at everything in front of her, her heart filled with warmth. She knew that this was the life she had always longed for, with the company of her family and the protection of her lover.
