Chapter 6 Rejection
On the way back to Songhe Hall from Haitang Courtyard, Wu Cheng comforted Feixu with kind words, which completely dispelled her doubts and strengthened her belief that she should return to Min Qiao's side to serve her and wait for Wu Cheng to marry her five years later.
However, when the two returned to Songhetang, they were met with a tightly closed door.
The young maid who used to guard the gate was driven away by Madam Min Qiao, and now Songhe Hall is short-handed.
