Chapter 20: A Ghost

She coughed lightly, looked at the faceless head without eyes, and shouted, "Sibai, it's me, the fortune teller. Are you listening?"

At this moment, Yang Sibai was squeezed out of the elevator by his teammates.

She held her phone tightly and cried without looking like a celebrity at all.

Her delicate makeup was ruined, but she didn't care about that at the moment. When she heard Xia Zhibai calling her, she quickly raised her phone to her face. Seeing Xia Zhibai on the other end of the video, she nodded repeatedly as if she had seen a family member.

"I'm here, anchor, I'm here. It seems we've encountered something real. That thing isn't a prop, it's not a person."

It was no longer as delicate as before. The mascara slid down along with the tears, wet into a clot, and stuck to her eyes. In addition, when she cried and wiped her eyes with her sleeves, she looked no better than a prop.

"Is there a power outage where you are?" Xia Zhibai saw that it was pitch black all around her and thought there was a power outage.

"No, we were recording a program when the power went out. The host said it was impossible for a power outage to happen at that time because we had reported it and had a backup generator. But we waited for a long time and the power didn't come back."

Because of fear, Yang Sibai grabbed the phone and complained to Xia Zhibai.

Xia Zhibai glanced at the comments floating by, seeing nothing negative, and then continued to ask, "What's going on with you now?"

"They all took the elevator and ran away."

"Elevator? Isn't there a power outage?" Xia Zhibai was stunned. Even the people in the live broadcast room were unbelievable and didn't refresh the screen.

After Xia Zhibai asked, Yang Sibai finally reacted. He looked at the elevator in front of him without a digital display with a confused look on his face, and his teeth were chattering with fear.

"I don't know about this. We are filming a variety show on the 18th floor and we can't find the exit. There is only the elevator." Even if Yang Sibai reacted slowly, he knew that something was really wrong here.

"Take out the amulet I gave you and have a look at it."

"Oh, okay." Yang Sibai took out the amulet that she kept close to her body, only to see that it had been burnt black. Her face changed, and her already smudged face looked even uglier.

"What's going on?"

"Just now, when you wanted to get on the elevator, did you feel a pain in your chest? And then you were squeezed out of the elevator.

It saved you once. I'm afraid something might have happened to the elevator your colleagues were riding in. Please give me a seat and I'll come find you."

Xia Zhibai was a little excited. This thing had a special origin. It made the amulet she drew ineffective in one go.

Yang Sibai nodded repeatedly: "Okay, I'll send it now."

In fact, Xia Zhibai already knew her location without her sending it.

All the amulets she gave away were marked with their locations, so she could sense if anything happened.

It wasn't her sixth sense that something bad was going to happen to Yang Sibai just now, but the amulet.

The people in the live broadcast room only felt something flash before their eyes, and then the anchor disappeared from their sight.

When I saw it again, it was dark.

"Fire." Xia Zhibai's calm voice sounded in everyone's ears.

Yang Sibai only felt something approaching him, and he was so scared that he covered his face and screamed.

"It's me." Xia Zhibai lit a fire talisman, looked around clearly, and couldn't help frowning.

"What variety show are you recording?" The ancient costume made her wonder for a moment that she had gone back to three thousand years ago.

Carved wooden railings and wooden corridors.

"I'm really immersive." Yang Sibai's eyes flashed with surprise when he saw that it was Xia Zhibai. He quickly stepped forward and grabbed her wrist: "The plot is about a concubine who cannot get the love she wants, and finally dies tragically in the cold palace."

Xia Zhibai was stunned. She didn't quite understand what this was.

But she felt a strong sense of resentment.

"That's not the point." Xia Zhibai shook his head and then asked, "How did she die?"

"It seems like it was skinned." Yang Sibai reacted belatedly.

At this time, the live broadcast room was boiling again.

"What was that first thing we saw?"

"It looks like a skinned face."

"Yes, that's it."

"But isn't that really a prop?"

"It doesn't look real. Props can't bleed that much. It just keeps dripping slowly."

Xia Zhibai's cell phone was in her pocket and not turned off, so everyone could hear her talking.

Yang Sibai even connected the line and held it high in his hands.

"Which elevator did they take to leave?" Xia Zhibai had seen the pale, faceless ghost, and she guessed correctly that the ghost was still here.

"This." Yang Sibai pointed to the car to her right and swallowed hard: "Are they still alive?"

"Impossible." The female ghost was able to go up to the corridor again in an instant to hurt Yang Sibai, which was very dangerous.

Yang Sibai has survived until now thanks to her amulet.

The live broadcast room suddenly fell silent, and no one dared to post random comments.

Even Su Yue saw it and carefully picked up the phone to call Mo Nanfeng.

"Boss, are you watching Zhibai's live broadcast?"

"Hmm." Mo Nanfeng murmured.

"Then what should we do now?" Looking at the crazy increase in the number of people in the live broadcast room, Su Yue was very panicked.

There are over 1.2 million people online, what to do now?

It's not that more people will make it popular, but this matter, Xia Zhibai's online ghost hunting...

Does the policy really allow it?

"Don't worry, just keep an eye on the live broadcast room. If you find anything wrong, I'll have someone take over."

Su Yue nodded and stared closely at Xia Zhibai on the screen.

"Take this with you." Xia Zhibai took out another amulet and gave it to Yang Sibai, and at the same time looked around again with the help of the fire talisman.

The faceless ghost only appeared in the screen when the call was first connected, and has not appeared until now. I'm afraid he has hidden himself.
