Chapter 13 Touch 100,000

Ji Yanli curled the corners of his lips and said softly, "Xiao Qianya, who do you think I should believe?"

Ji Qianya's clenched palms were covered with sweat. She turned around and looked at him, her clear and innocent pupils covered with a layer of mist. "Second brother, from childhood to adulthood, I have never and dare not lie to you."

"Besides, I'm not the type to lie, you all know that."

Ji Yanli patted her shoulder gently, his voice still so gentle and charming, "Don't be nervous, Second Brother is naturally willing to believe you, but to be fair, shouldn't we ask Xiaoshu what she said first?"

Ji Qianya's body stiffened, her heart pounding non-stop, as if it would jump out of her throat at any second. She pinched her hands and forced herself to calm down, "Second brother... let's talk about this later. I suddenly feel a little unwell and a little dizzy. I want to go back to my room to rest first."

Ji Yanli glanced at her nonchalantly and said, "It shouldn't take much time to say a word."

He paused, raised his eyes and looked at Li Shu, "Xiaoshu, is that right?"

Li Shu didn't expect that her second brother, the movie star, was quite interesting. Leng Bai touched his chin with his slender hand and said lazily, "I heard from Butler Ji that it was Sister Qianya who volunteered to let me live in the attic."

Ji Yanli raised his eyebrows slightly and crossed his arms, "Looks like there's another person we need to confront."

"Xiao Qianya, you are not dizzy. Go and rest first. Later, my second brother will ask Butler Ji what's going on."

Ji Qianya's expression instantly became flustered. She swallowed her saliva and explained haphazardly, "Second brother... I thought the attic not only faces south but also has a terrace. At night, you can see the stars and the moon from the skylight, so I thought of letting my sister live here. I just mentioned it briefly. It was mainly Mom who made the final decision."

"Besides, I've given my room to my sister now, so she doesn't have to live in the attic anymore."

Ji Yanli's face showed no emotion, he just said: "Well, you go and rest."

Ji Qianya raised her head slightly and stole a few glances at him. Unable to grasp his attitude for a moment, she nodded obediently, "Then, Second Brother, I'll leave first."

Li Shu glanced at Ji Qianya's fleeing back indifferently, then retracted her gaze and looked at the man in front of her again, "Aren't you leaving?"

Ji Yanli chuckled softly, the mole under his deep eyes was very attractive, and his voice was gentle: "How heartless! You didn't even call me Second Brother."

Li Shu tilted her head, looking quite serious. "Is there a reward for calling you?"

"What reward do you want?"

Li Shu raised her beautiful eyebrows slightly, "For example, money or something."

Ji Yanli curled the corners of his lips and said, "Little money-grubber, sure."

"Wait a minute, I'll go get my phone." Li Shu turned around and went back to the room.

Ji Yanli took two steps forward and leaned against the door frame. His eyes followed the girl's figure and fell on a pile of yellow talisman paper casually placed on the table in the room. He asked curiously, "What are those long yellow paper strips on your table for? Did you buy them to draw on?"

"Draw a talisman." Li Shu came over with her phone, tapped the WeChat payment code, and then turned the phone screen towards him, "Pay, second brother."

"Drawing a talisman?" Ji Yanli raised his eyebrows, stood up straight, and glanced at her glittering payment code. "Shouldn't I add you as a friend first?"

"Okay." Li Shu nodded, tapping the screen with her jade-like fingers, switching to the QR code for adding friends.

Ji Yanli took out his mobile phone and scanned the code. After adding her as a friend, he transferred 100,000 yuan to her without any hesitation.

Li Shu looked at the 100,000 yuan that had just arrived on her phone with a cheerful mood and said, "Second brother, if you want talisman paper, I can give you one."

Ji Yanli looked at the girl's money-obsessed look, and instead of being disgusted, he found it quite cute. His heart suddenly softened, "Then give me one."

Li Shu hummed, returned to the room, took out a painted amulet from the table, walked to the door and handed it to him, "Just carry it with you, it will keep you safe."

Ji Yanli reached out to take the talisman paper, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

I originally thought it was just some random scribble by a kid for fun, but it actually looks quite realistic. If you didn't know better, you might think it was drawn by a Taoist master.

"My second brother must keep the things you gave him close to him."

Li Shu hummed, stretched, and a bit of obedience was revealed between her delicate eyebrows. "Second brother, I want to continue drawing the talisman."

Although Ji Yanli did not quite understand this girl's unusual interests and hobbies, he did not interfere too much. He reached out and rubbed her hair hard, then quickly put it down and shook the talisman paper in his hand, "Okay, let's go."

Li Shu was not angry at his sudden behavior. She straightened her messy hair and said seriously, "Second brother, touch the 100,000."

Ji Yanli's mouth twitched slightly, feeling both amused and helpless. He took out his phone and transferred 500,000 yuan to her on the spot. "OK, save the rest first."

Li Shu's eyes brightened a little, and the corners of her mouth rose slightly, "Thank you, second brother."

After Ji Yanli left, Li Shu closed the door, sat back at the table, thought for a while, and directly changed the WeChat note for him: ATM.

On this side, Ji Yanli came out of the elevator and walked into the living room, where he ran into Butler Ji who came in hurriedly from outside.

"Second Young Master, when did you come back?!" Butler Ji stopped and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.

"I just came back a while ago." Ji Yanli's eyes fell on the gauze on his face, "Butler Ji, how did your face get hurt?"
