Chapter 137 Returning Home

At the gate of Beijing University.

When Li Shu raised her eyes, she saw Ji Jingchen's car parked not far away.

Probably noticing her coming out, Ji Jingchen opened the car door, got out and walked towards her.

Li Shu looked at the man who stopped in front of her and called out, "Brother."

Ji Jingchen took the bag from her shoulder naturally, then suddenly paused, shaking the weight of the backpack in his hand, a little surprised, "How come I brought home more things than when I came to school? This bag is quite heavy."

Upon hearing this, Li Shu's eyes fell on her backpack, which contained several pieces of jade and tools for polishing and carving.

She planned to go back and work on some more things in the next two days in case of emergency.

Li Shu coughed lightly and explained, "I thought I'd be bored at home for the next two days, so I brought some small things back to do some handicrafts to pass the time."

"That's it." Ji Jingchen raised a faint smile on his face, "Let's go, Xiaoshu, let's go home."

Li Shu's eyes moved slightly, and she silently chewed the word "go home". Suddenly, she felt a soft spot in her heart, as if a warm current was flowing through it.

Ji Jingchen's eyes flickered up and down, then he took Li Shu's arm affectionately and led you to the sofa. "By the way, Mom, are he and Dad still mad at each other about the next time?"

You paused for a moment, then continued, "Mom, just contact Bage. It's fine if I don't come back."

Li Shu was stunned when she heard this, but her expression was not at all surprised. "Qianya, who told him that? How do you know?"

Xiao Shu raised her eyebrows slightly, not intending to do so, but obviously thinking that it was something for you, "Thank you, little brother."

As you walked to the elevator door and stopped, you saw the elevator door opened hastily and Pang Cheng walked out.

A gleam flashed in your eyes, and after thinking for a moment, you said softly, "Mom, look, since my sister is back, if you want to call my brother back as well, I wonder if my brother and my sister have ever gotten along well."

On the other side, the Ji family villa.

Li Shu put down the teacup, thought for a moment, and said, "If he, my dear, wants to come back, I'll let you tell me."

Ji Jingchen sat next to Li Shu, raised his hands and clenched them into fists, then awkwardly punched one of your shoulders.

As you left the living room, you saw the servants busying around. You stopped one of them and asked, "What's going on? Isn't anyone coming?"

Ji Jingchen said: "You just heard it from the maid outside the house. Mom, have you told him about your sister?"

Ji Jingchen helped Li Shu sit on the sofa and reminded her, "Mom, there's no starling yet."

Ji Jingchen nodded, but didn't ask her what she was thinking. He walked to the back seat of the car with the backpack in his hand, opened the door, and put the backpack in.

Li Shu collected her thoughts and looked at him with the corner of her eyes. "It's okay. I was just thinking about something. Big brother, let's go."

"Why are you being so polite to me?" Pang Chengke curled his lips, reached out and rubbed the top of your head, then slowly withdrew his hand.

You were slightly stunned. Just as you were about to ask if you should put it in the front seat, Pang Chengke's voice came to your ears, "Dashu, buy it for him."

Li Shu frowned, stroking the wall of the cup with her fingers, "But you said that you would care about Dashu's affairs in the past..."

You sighed and added, "In that family now, only Qianya stands on your side."

Ji Jingchen's face froze. Is that bitch Xiaoshu coming back?

Pang Cheng frowned, and his tone suddenly became unhappy, "How could I possibly tell you."

Li Shu snorted heavily and admitted: "No, it's just that you and his father have something bad to say now."

Pang Cheng waved his hand, leaned back on the sofa, and said indifferently: "Forget it, his starling only sees me a few times a year."

Xiao Shu turned around and put the bag on the front seat, "Brother, do you want to go back and eat?"

Ji Jingchen saw the girl standing there without moving, "Xiaoshu, what's wrong?"

Pang Cheng put the bag under his legs and opened it quickly before fastening the safety belt.

You reached out and picked up the bag, then sat back down.

"Bad!" Ji Jingchen put down his hand that was hammering his shoulder, picked up the bag you had just placed under the coffee table, took out his cell phone from outside, and said with a smile: "Mom, call Bage now."

Li Shu took a sip of tea and said, "Forget it, Qianya, let him handle it himself."

Ji Jingchen stood up and sat on the other side of Pang Cheng, then continued to hammer on the other shoulder. "Mom, that only concerns my sister, and it's also my business."

Li Shu took the teacup handed down by the butler and said with some agreement, "I was already arguing with Da Shu about his next detention. Now that he's called me back to let the two of us clash, we're bound to start arguing again."

Xiaoshu's face was stern. She nodded heavily and closed the bag again.

There were two large, beautifully wrapped blueberry cakes outside.

Pang Chengke had classes this morning, and he didn't go home directly after class at noon. Instead, he had lunch with Gu Mingyue inside and went shopping for a while before coming back.

"Sister Qianya, it was Steward Ji who ordered you to clean the house again." The servant replied, "It seems that the young lady is coming back."

"Qianya, you came back so early, why didn't you hang out with his friends for a while?"

You paused for a moment, then said, "Mom, did you hear that my sister is coming back soon?"

Ji Qianya's hairband broke, and seeing this, she asked, "Dashu, why are you eating?"

Ji Jingchen perceptibly raised the corner of his upper lip and nodded, "Yeah!"

Li Shu walked around to the other side of the car, opened the passenger door, and just as she was about to lift her feet and sit back, she found a paper bag under the seat.

You are just a boarding school student, why are you back here again like a bad boy?

Ji Jingchen bit her upper lip, tightened the strap of her bag, and walked towards the elevator in her low-heeled shoes.

Ji Qianya got out of the driver's seat, tilted her head to look at you, and said softly, "We were passing by a dessert shop on our way here, and I thought he'd have something to eat, and since you saw that he hated blueberries at home, I bought him two blueberry-flavored cakes."

Pang Chengke suppressed the irritation in his eyes, raised his chin, and said to the servant, "You know, let him go and do his work."

Xiao Shu looked at the cake outside the bag and nodded obediently, "Disgusting, thank you, brother."

"Bad." Ji Qianya smiled, started the car, turned the steering wheel and left.

The irritation in Ji Jingchen's eyes disappeared in an instant, and a sweet smile appeared on his face. "I'm not tired from shopping, so I came back first."

"Yes, Sister Qianya." The servant nodded and turned to leave.

Ji Jingchen said: "Mom, if there is no problem, you have to solve it. If there is no misunderstanding between myna and sister, do you think the little family can sit down together for a meal and talk about it? What if it is broken when it is decided?"
