Jingchen looked at Li Shu who had blocked his palm and said, "That came pretty fast."
Li Shu didn't reply and continued to say to Wen Xuan behind him: "Listen to me, go to Qingfeng Temple first. I may not be able to take care of you if a fight breaks out later."
"Sister Li... I don't want you to get into trouble because of me. Master, my senior brother is already dead, I can't let you get hurt again." Wenxuan cried, "It's all because of me, otherwise they wouldn't have died..."
"Calm down first. Trust me, I'll be fine." Li Shu said, "Besides, I'm already here, and he won't let me leave so easily. You being here will only distract me."
Wenxuan clenched his hands at his sides into fists, "Sister Li, I'll help you deal with him!"
Li Shu's heart twitched. It seemed that he had been talking for a long time but no one heard a word. She had no choice but to take out a talisman from her pocket and hit him with it, and then threw two paper figures at his feet.
The two paper figures suddenly grew larger, lifted up Wenxuan, and moved quickly towards Qingfeng Temple.
Li Shu retracted her gaze and fixed it on Jing Chen. She slowly said, "Master Jing Chen, you are quite good at disguising yourself. You even fooled me."
Jingchen put his hands behind his back and said, "Ms. Li, it seems Wenxuan must have told you my secret."
Li Shu narrowed her eyes slightly, "It doesn't matter whether you say it or not, just keep your life."
"Heh." Jingchen chuckled, his eyes gradually becoming fiercer, "Then give it a try."
After saying that, he quickly attacked Li Shu.
Seeing this, Li Shu's eyes narrowed and she immediately went to meet him.
The two of them entangled with each other so quickly that only a shadow was left.
The surrounding trees were knocked down.
Jingchen knew that Li Shu was powerful, but he didn't expect her to be even stronger than he imagined. He didn't even know whether she had used her full strength.
If the secondary personality does not merge with me, I will definitely be defeated if this continues.
"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and merge with me." The voice of the secondary personality sounded in my mind.
"Heh, didn't you say you could beat her by yourself? Why are you clamoring for fusion before you even come out to fight?" Jingchen sneered.
Li Shu frowned when she heard this. It was obvious that Jingchen was not talking to her, but there was no third person here, so who was he talking to?
Is he talking to himself?
"If you have the energy to mock me here, you might as well let our two powers merge. Then this woman won't be killed casually. Why make things so embarrassing like now?" The secondary personality said again.
"I said, it's impossible for me to merge with you." Jing Chen dodged Li Shu's attack and said coldly.
"Fusion..." Li Shu heard this word in both of his sentences, and she seemed to have grasped something vaguely.
"You..." The secondary personality knew that in this situation, neither side would give in. If they continued to stalemate like this, they would be courting death. He immediately changed his words and said, "Then why don't you run away."
Jingchen didn't answer him. His eyes fixed, and he instantly threw several talismans at Li Shu. While she was dodging, he turned around and ran into the darkness.
Li Shu slowed down for a few seconds, then immediately teleported to catch up.
The two of them were equally fast and in the blink of an eye they were away from Qingfeng Temple.
When they chased to a forest, Li Shu found that she had lost the man, but she did see Jingchen enter there.
Li Shu slowed down and began to search. When she walked deep into the woods, she found something wrong. It seemed too quiet here.
She frowned, quickened her pace and continued walking inside, preparing to go back to Qingfeng Temple directly after leaving.
However, the moment she walked out of the woods, she found herself in front of a very dilapidated and familiar Taoist temple.
A hint of surprise flashed in Li Shu's eyes. She looked towards the top of the entrance and saw the three words "Qingfeng Temple" written on the wobbly plaque, with the word "Qing" missing a corner.
Isn’t this the Qingfeng Temple where she lived with her master?
"Xiao Lili, what are you daydreaming about? Did you buy my wine?"
Li Shu came back to her senses and looked in the direction of the sound. She saw an old man wearing a tattered Taoist robe and with messy hair standing at the entrance of the Taoist temple.
"Master?!"
"Hey, why are you so surprised? You just came down the mountain to buy some wine and you don't recognize your master?" Master Xuanqing smiled and waved at her, "Come up quickly, can't you see it's raining?"
Li Shu felt the raindrops falling on her head, frowned slightly, and immediately walked up the stairs and stopped in front of Master Xuanqing.
"Where is my wine, Xiao Lili?" asked Master Xuanqing again.
Li Shu looked at the master in front of her whom she had missed for a long time, her eyes softened a little, and she shook her head, "No, the wine is sold out."
"Okay, so what are we having for lunch today?"
"I don't know. I haven't thought about it yet."
"Why did you act strange after coming down the mountain today? Who bullied you?" Xuan Qing Zhenren rolled up his sleeves and put his hands on his hips. "Tell Master quickly. Master will go and avenge you right now."
A trace of helplessness flashed across Li Shu's eyes. She raised her hand and pushed him into the Taoist temple. "No one bullies me. Master, let's go in quickly."
"Then what happened to you?" asked Master Xuanqing with concern.
"It's okay, I just miss you, Master." Li Shu said softly.
"Miss me?" Xuan Qing Zhenren turned his head and glanced at her. "We are together every day, so what do you want me to do?"
"It's okay, I just said it casually." Li Shu patted his shoulder, "Master, I'll go cook for you."
"Are you cooking so early today?" asked Master Xuanqing.
"Well, I'm hungry. Let's eat breakfast today." Li Shu said.
Xuan Qing Zhenren nodded and said, "Okay, then go and cook."
Li Shu nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.
The layout inside hadn't changed at all, just as she remembered it. There were two potatoes left on the table, and a plate of leftover rice.
Li Shu picked up the potatoes and peeled them with familiar tools. Then she walked to the water tank outside, scooped up some water and rinsed the potatoes.
She turned back to the kitchen table, put two potatoes on the cutting board, picked up the knife and started cutting.
Soon, she cut the two potatoes into thin strips.
Li Shu had just turned around and walked to the stove with the plate of shredded potatoes when Xuan Qing Zhenren's voice came from the kitchen door, "Xiao Li Li, are we having shredded potatoes today?"
Li Shu put down the plate in her hand and turned to look at him. "This is all I have left. I'll go down the mountain to buy more vegetables tomorrow."
"Then why didn't you buy it when you went down the mountain today?" asked Master Xuanqing.
"I remembered it wrongly. I thought there were still some dishes left." Li Shu said.
"Is that so?" said Master Xuanqing.
Li Shu nodded, put the firewood into the hole under the stove, and then lit the wood with talisman paper.
After the big iron pan was heated, she poured in oil and heated it, then added dried chilies and stir-fried them until fragrant, then poured in the shredded potatoes and stir-fried them together, and finally added seasonings and stir-fried for a while before serving directly out of the pan.
