As soon as the two walked out of the yard, they found Wenxuan standing outside.
"Hey, Wenxuan, why are you still here?" Jingchen asked.
Wenxuan glanced at Li Shu standing next to him and touched the back of his head. "I thought if you guys need to call me for something, I might as well wait outside."
He paused for a moment and then said, "Master, where are you and Sister Li going?"
"I plan to take Miss Li to meet my senior brother." Jingchen explained.
Wenxuan nodded, "Oh, then I'll go with you."
"Well, let's go." Jingchen responded, then called Li Shu to continue walking forward.
Xukong's residence was not far from Jingchen, and the three of them arrived quickly.
Jingchen stepped into the room first, "Brother, are you busy?"
Xukong was reading an ancient book. Upon hearing this, he looked up at him. However, when his gaze fell on Li Shu who was following behind him, he paused and asked, "What's wrong?"
"I want to introduce someone to you." Jing Chen stepped aside and said with a smile, "This is Miss Li. Like us, she is a practitioner of Taoism, and her strength is even greater than mine. I met her by chance, and today I just happened to invite her to visit again. You were not here last time, so I had to bring her here for you to meet."
There was a hint of surprise in Xukong's eyes, as if he didn't expect that this young girl in front of him could be so powerful.
He put down the book in his hand, stood up, walked over to Li Shu, stopped, extended his hand, and said kindly, "Hello, Miss Li, I am Xukong, the abbot of Baiyun Temple."
Li Shu nodded slightly and held his hand, "Hello, Taoist Xukong, I am Li Shu, the abbot of Qingfeng Temple."
Xukong was stunned for a moment after hearing this, then came to his senses, loosened his grip on her hand, and asked, "Qingfeng Temple?"
Li Shu hummed softly, "It's still under construction. It's almost done and will be completed by the end of the year. If Taoist Xukong is free then you can come and visit. I've already invited Taoist Jingchen and Wenxuan."
"Of course I'm free." Xukong nodded. "But I didn't expect Miss Li to have achieved such great things at such a young age. It's truly admirable."
"Master Xukong, thank you for your praise." Li Shu said modestly.
"Come, don't stand, please sit down." Xukong raised his hand and pointed to the table beside him.
Li Shu nodded, then walked over and sat down.
Xukong and Jingchen followed and sat down opposite her.
"Wenxuan, pour the tea." Xukong glanced at Wenxuan who was standing there and ordered.
"Yes, Master." Wenxuan came over, picked up the teacup, and poured a cup of tea for the three people sitting down. "Sister Li, here."
Li Shu reached out and took the teacup, "Thank you."
"Wenxuan, please step back first." Xukong said again.
"Oh, okay, Master." Wenxuan responded, then turned and left the room.
Xukong glanced at his departing figure, then quickly retracted his gaze, his gaze landing on Li Shu. "Where is Miss Li's Qingfeng Temple being built?"
"In the new development zone." Li Shu said.
Xukong nodded and asked, "What's the scale?"
"It's quite big." Li Shu coughed lightly, "Probably as big as two Baiyun Temples."
Void: “…”
Jingchen: “…”
Xukong thought he had met a wealthy colleague, so he strategically picked up the teacup and took a sip of tea, then changed the subject and said, "Miss Li, can you let me see the talisman you drew?"
Li Shu nodded lightly, took out a talisman she had drawn from her pocket and handed it to him.
Xukong reached out to take it. The moment he touched the talisman paper, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, "Is this talisman paper coated with a layer of oil?"
"That's right, we use tung oil to make it waterproof," said Li Shu.
"I've never thought about waterproofing," Xu Kong said with some shame. "Also, the amulet that Miss Li drew is of excellent quality. I'm afraid even my own can't compare to it. She's really young and promising."
He paused for a moment, then continued, "I'm sure Miss Li's master must be an extremely powerful master. I wonder if I can have a chance to meet him?
Li Shu tilted her head, her dark eyes clear and transparent, "There probably isn't a chance anymore. My master has already ascended."
"Ascend?!" Xukong's pupils shrank, his brows filled with shock. For a moment, he suspected he had misheard. "Ms. Li, are you serious?"
Even Jingchen, who was usually calm, looked shocked. He obviously didn't expect that someone could actually ascend to heaven.
Li Shu nodded, "Really."
"Then, Miss Li, did you ever see your master again?" Xukong asked again.
"No, but Master is always here, and sometimes he appears through his portrait," said Li Shu.
"That's truly remarkable," Xukong said in disbelief. "Excuse me, has Miss Li's master ever taught her how to ascend?"
"I haven't said that." Li Shu's slender fingers stroked the cup in her hand. "Things like this all depend on chance."
"That's right." Xukong nodded and said helplessly, "Opportunity is something I may never be able to comprehend in my entire life."
"Master Xukong, just be more open-minded. Ascension is an extremely difficult thing. There is no need to be so obsessed with it." Li Shu comforted him.
"Yes, at my age, I am not as insightful as you, Miss Li." Xukong said.
"I'm quite casual and don't take these things seriously," said Li Shu.
Xukong smiled and said, "When Miss Li's Taoist temple officially opens, please let me visit it."
Li Shu took a sip of tea and said, "Of course."
"Miss Li, would you like to stay for lunch?" Xukong asked.
Li Shu nodded slightly, "It's convenient. Taoist Jingchen has already told me."
"That's good." said the void.
......
After Li Shu finished her lunch at Baiyun Temple, she went straight back to Ji's house.
As soon as she stepped into the living room, she found that Ji Si had returned and was sitting on the sofa playing with Little Coal Ball.
Li Shu walked over and sat down on the sofa diagonally opposite him, "Third brother, why are you back?"
Hearing this, Ji Si raised his eyes to look at her, his eyes flickering unnaturally. "The training there isn't very busy recently, so I'll take some time to come back and visit."
Li Shu frowned. "I remember you told me last time that you have a competition next month, right?"
Ji Si paused as he touched the small coal ball. "You must have remembered it wrongly. I didn't say that..."
Li Shu narrowed her eyes slightly, recalled it again, and said firmly: "My memory is not wrong, you did say it."
She paused, looking him up and down. "What happened?"
Ji Si smiled and said, "Nothing, what could happen to me?"
"Is there something wrong with your team?" Li Shu asked again, "Tell me, I'll help you think of a solution."
After a few seconds of silence, Ji Si sighed softly and said with a melancholy look on his face, "Xiao Shu, you really can't help with this."
