The next morning.
When Bai Sisi woke up, she found Gu Zihan lying on the ground by the door, wearing only thin pajamas.
"Cousin!" Bai Sisi was startled when she saw this. She quickly threw off the quilt and got out of bed. She walked to Gu Zihan's side, squatted down, helped her sit up from the ground, and shook her body, "Cousin, wake up!"
Seeing that she didn't respond, Bai Sisi dragged her aside and leaned her against the wall.
Just as I was about to open the door and go out to call for help, I heard Gu Zihan's groan the next second.
Bai Sisi's hand that was about to open the door paused, and she quickly looked down at the ground. She saw Gu Zihan holding his forehead and slowly opening his eyes, his face pale.
"Cousin, are you okay? How did you end up lying on the ground by the door? I was so scared."
Gu Zihan felt a sharp pain at the back of his head. He looked up at her and said weakly, "I saw a ghost last night... and then I fainted here because of her fright..."
"What?" Bai Sisi was stunned for a moment, then came to her senses and said in disbelief, "Ghost?!"
Gu Zihan stood up from the ground, holding on to the wall. "Yes, the female ghost is hanging from the ceiling above the bed where we sleep."
Before midnight, the program crew's car stopped behind a solemn and majestic Buddhist temple.
Jiang Ming raised his eyes and his gaze fell on the plaque below the main entrance, with the eight characters of Shu Jie Ze written below.
Lu Heng nodded and said, "Okay, they will go with you."
Gu Zihan reached out and touched your forehead. "Indeed, the floor must have frozen after sleeping all night. Now, go find the production team and tell us, and then go to the hospital."
"Brother Ming, does he know in which direction the Flesh-and-Body Buddha Temple is? You want to go over here first and take a look." Jiang Ming said again.
If you are mistaken, these disciples should be nailed to death under the lotus seat, and then gold paint is painted all over their bodies, and a peaceful expression is put on their faces, and then a flesh-and-blood Buddha is formed.
When the head actor saw everyone was gathered, he took the megaphone and said, "Zi Han can't participate in today's recording due to health reasons, and Si Si also needs to take care of you, so only their eight groups will be absent today."
You narrowed your eyes slightly. As expected, Lu Zheyu produced a flesh-and-blood Buddha statue every year.
"Your head hurts..." Shu Jieze touched his cheek and found it was burning. "You look like you have a fever..."
"You guys are going to the city today. My family has been busy these past two days, so the day before, the production team will take my family on a special day trip to visit all the sights in the city."
......
......
Lu Heng's eyes fell on the line in the middle of the hall. "We don't have a time limit there. There are so few people. If it's your turn in a short while, you'll be in trouble."
"Ah?" Shu Jie Ze asked with concern, "Director, what's wrong with Zi Han? You looked so naughty last night, didn't you?"
"Every year...a Buddha in the flesh..." Jiang Ming's eyes moved slightly. As far as you know, the formation of a Buddha in the flesh is a simple process. It would be too strange to have one every year.
"That way, I'll scare you." Bai Sisi nodded, "Director, what are you going to do today?"
Gu Zihan shook her head. She would rather believe that she was dreaming at that time. "I don't sleepwalk."
"The difference is small. Although one is Taoism and the other is Buddhism, their reputations are comparable. To be more generous, Lu Zheyu is more popular." Lu Heng nodded. "Because Shu Jie Ze produces a flesh-and-blood Buddha every year, every temple outside is filled with golden flesh-and-blood Buddha statues. It looks very spectacular. People come here because of their reputation, so the incense there is very prosperous."
The chief director clapped his hands and said, "Okay, the car will be parked at the door, Xiaojia can get out directly."
"You know, take him there." Lu Heng turned to look at the rest of Shu Jieze and us and asked, "By the way, what about Zheyu and the others? Do they want to go shopping on their own, or come with you to see the Flesh Buddha?"
Bai Sisi hurriedly supported her arm and walked towards the bed, "Cousin, did you have a nightmare and then sleepwalk again?"
"You called him and shook him, but he didn't respond at all. Then you wanted to run out and call for help, but when you got to the door, you found it was open." Yan Lingsi rubbed the front of his head, recalling what happened last night. "Then this male ghost came to you, and you frightened him and fainted."
Everyone responded and then turned around and walked towards the nearby Buddhist temple.
"You come too." Li Shu said.
"Lu Zheyu, you have been here once, but you didn't realize that you haven't had the chance to come for the seventh time. The must-see attraction in this city is not that one." Lu Heng said with a smile.
Jiang Ming discovered the problem the moment he stepped out of the hall. There was a lingering aura of resentment in front of each of the flesh-and-blood Buddha statues outside the hall. It was only because there was no seal outside the hall to suppress the souls that it did not affect the tourists who came out to watch and burn incense.
"I caught a cold and had a fever last night, and I haven't been to the hospital in town yet," explained the director.
Yanlingsi nodded and said unhealthily, "Bad."
"Where is Li Shu?" Lu Heng asked again.
"That's right." Bai Sisi responded, then pulled Li Shuqi to look at it.
Upon hearing this, everyone pushed their suitcases into the yard and got out of the eight cars prepared by the program crew.
"Let's go together, Brother Ming. From what he said, it seems you are quite interested too." Bai Sisi said.
"After shopping...?" Bai Sisi opened her mouth slightly, "Director, is that right? He's serious about this. He must be exhausted..."
"There's a problem." Everyone responded.
"Uh..." Bai Sisi said, "Then why didn't you wake me up? Why didn't I hear anything?"
"How can you call on special forces?" the director said. "Time is tight. My family's things have been packed up. If there are any problems, you should leave now."
There were crowds of people outside, and the young boys were queuing up to burn incense.
The director looked at the guests standing in a row behind the table and said, "Your first stop today is not the least famous Buddhist temple outside. Give Xiaojia half an hour to look around. Meet outside before we start."
As Shu Jie walked out of the temple, she asked, "Is it as unknown as the Baiyun Temple in your capital?"
"Then..." Gu Zihan was still too daring to doubt that there was no ghost. He always felt that Yanling Temple was having a nightmare. After all, how could he hear such a small noise?
"You go, it's really spectacular, a golden expanse." Bai Sisi exclaimed in admiration at the sight, "Do you want to queue up and burn some incense too?"
At four o'clock in the afternoon, everyone gathered outside the yard, dragging their suitcases.
Slowly, everyone followed Lu Heng to the outside of the temple filled with living Buddhas.
