Chapter 101: A Narrow Victory
Shu Zhendong watched her departing figure with sharp eyes and a heavy heart.
He didn't win this game easily; he didn't gain any advantage and only barely managed a narrow victory.
Judging from the woman's tone, his Bowen probably won't be back anytime soon.
This is a contest of who's bolder and who's more shameless.
Of course, this is assuming Shu Bowen is not home. If Shu Bowen is home, then whatever he does will be a loss, it's just a matter of whether it's a lose-lose situation or he has to suffer in silence.
As long as Su Peipei is willing to go all out and keep pestering Shu Bowen, Shu Bowen will get into trouble even if he doesn't get the fish, due to public pressure.

"Not yet, but it seems she's gotten close to Wang Biao. The house she's renting is right in Wang Biao's backyard. I guess Wang Biao can handle the paperwork for her. And even the shipment itself is probably being arranged by Wang Biao..."
"Hmph, a cancer on the nation." Shu Zhendong said with a sullen face, but also with some relief, "Fortunately, we let Bowen go. If we had been forced to marry that woman, the Shu family would probably never have had peace."
Changing the subject, Shu Zhendong asked again, "How's it going with Li Zhian?"

Su Peipei and Su Ming returned to the Su family home in silence. The family members surrounded her, asking questions one after another, which made Su Peipei even more annoyed.
"Alright, you guys go ahead and eat. They're not coming," Su Peipei said, then turned to go back to her room to rest.
But Liu Cuihua wasn't about to let her off the hook. Grabbing her hand, she pressed, "What's wrong? What exactly happened? Explain yourself!"
Li Qin, instead of asking Su Peipei, pulled Su Ming aside to inquire about the situation. Su Ming told the truth, mentioning that the Shu family had told Su Peipei to give birth before going, which immediately caused an uproar.
"What? Peipei is pregnant? Whose child is it?" This shocking revelation immediately drew everyone's attention to Su Peipei's belly.
Su Peipei only then realized what was happening, feeling extremely annoyed. Damn it, her mind was so busy that she forgot to explain to Su Ming in time.
“I’m not pregnant, so how could I have a child? Brother, you’ve misunderstood,” Su Peipei tried her best to explain.
