The next morning, as dawn was breaking, Su Xiao woke up, quickly washed up, and opened her door. The door to the room opposite hers was already open.
Su Xiao carried her luggage and walked over.
Shang Ziming came out of the bathroom, wiped the water droplets off his hands, looked up and saw Su Xiao at the door, and smiled, "Good morning, are you done? Let's go."
He's all ready; he can just grab his luggage and go.
The two passed by Cheng Jiulang and Fang Minghao's room and saw that they were already prepared. They greeted each other and set off together.
Because they left so early, the hotel hadn't prepared breakfast yet, so they had to set off on an empty stomach.
A military jeep sped along the road, kicking up wisps of dust, looking dashing and unrestrained.
At seven o'clock in the morning, we passed through a town, where a few people got out of the car to have breakfast, and then someone else took over driving.
Su Xiao leaned on Shang Ziming's shoulder and took a comfortable nap. After getting up and having breakfast, she felt much more awake.
Once back in the car, looking at Cheng Jiulang in the passenger seat, she couldn't help but ask about the situation.
"Brother Jiulang, I heard you're in love?"
Cheng Jiulang glared at Fang Minghao, knowing that it must have been Fang Minghao who had been too talkative.
"What's going on? It's good news, can't I say it?" Fang Minghao teased loudly, "Xiaoxiao, you don't know, when this guy came back last night, his mouth was grinning from ear to ear."
"Alright, it's not as exaggerated as you make it out to be," Cheng Jiulang retorted, then answered Su Xiao seriously, "Yes, Tian Shuang and I are officially dating."
"Congratulations!" Su Xiao was very happy to hear this. "Tian Shuang is my cousin, Jiu Lang, so I'll have to call you cousin-in-law from now on."
"Oh my, is that so?" Fang Minghao exclaimed in surprise. "You two are now relatives? No way, I want one too. Xiaoxiao, do you have any younger sisters? Introduce one to me."
"Get lost, what nonsense are you spouting?" Cheng Jiulang retorted.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I'm serious," Fang Minghao retorted. "Are you still my brother? You've won the heart of a beauty, and you don't care if your brother is still all alone?"
“If you want a wife, you can grab a whole bunch of them with your bare hands. Do you really need us to introduce you?” Cheng Jiulang retorted, not to be outdone, revealing his secret.
"Hey, how can you talk like that?" Fang Minghao retorted. "Where did you get this 'a handful'? Show me a handful."
