In the evening, before the sun had even set, Su Peipei arrived right at dinnertime.
This time, Su Xiao greeted her with a smile and welcomed her into the door.
"Second sister, come in quickly. Do you eat dinner this early now? I'm still cooking it here."
Su Peipei smelled the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen and couldn't help but rub her stomach, forcing back her cravings as she smiled and said, "Xiaoxiao, what did you cook? It smells so good."
Su Xiao smiled and said, "It's nothing. It's just some leftover rice from lunch. I was planning to make some fried rice to tide me over. Luckily you've already eaten, otherwise I would have been neglecting my guest."
Su Peipei swallowed hard and chuckled awkwardly, "Really? Then I'll start the fire for you."
She hadn't actually eaten yet because Liu Cuihua had discovered her stealing flour and eggs this morning. Liu Cuihua got angry and threatened to skip her dinner. She was furious and argued with her, then came straight here.
