As Grandpa Qin watched Shang Ziming leave, he raised his hand and furrowed his brow to shake off his weariness.
Then, he stood up and walked out of the office. After many twists and turns and passing through numerous checkpoints, he arrived at an iron gate.
"Commander." There were soldiers guarding the entrance.
"Open the door," Old Master Qin ordered.
"Yes, sir." Upon receiving the order, the guard immediately took out his key and opened the iron gate.
Old Master Qin went inside.
"Commander, Commander, have you let us out yet?"
The sounds coming from inside were also cut off as the iron gate was closed.
Inside the room, Old Master Qin asked with a smile, "Comrade Su, how have you been lately? Are you comfortable staying here?"
The room was small, furnished with just a few pieces of furniture.
Su Peipei stood up excitedly, her face full of anticipation. "Chief, you promised last time, and I've already told you what will happen in the next five years. So, is what I said true? Has it been verified? Shouldn't you let me go now?"
Grandpa Qin smiled and reassured her, "Don't get agitated. What you've said are all big events, and some of them have indeed happened. But they were just a little earlier than expected. I don't find anything magical about them. Some people might be naturally perceptive and able to predict the outcome. What do you think?"
Su Peipei became somewhat irritated upon hearing his words. "Then what do you suggest we do? These are the things that will happen in the near future, and there's nothing particularly outstanding to prove my point."
Grandpa Qin smiled calmly and said slowly, "So, don't rush, take your time, time will prove everything."
These words greatly displeased Su Peipei. Time? Time was her greatest weakness; she couldn't afford to waste it. She didn't want to be locked up here...
"Ah..." Su Peipei became more and more frantic as she thought about it, and suddenly all sorts of information exploded in her mind, making her feel like she was about to explode.
"Let me out, let me out! What right do you have to arrest me? I haven't done anything wrong..." Suddenly, Su Peipei frantically banged her head on the table.
Old Master Qin stood still, his expression unchanged, as if he were used to it.
In just a few breaths, the iron gate was opened again, and several doctors came in carrying boxes. They had a clear division of labor: some held Su Peipei down, while others took out syringes. After one injection, Su Peipei slowly calmed down.
Old Master Qin waited for a while, until she seemed to have calmed down, then he suddenly said, "Do you think there might be other people in this world like you?"
