The two tidied up their belongings and left the ward.
On the way back to the second-floor ward, Tian Shuang said with some difficulty, "I'm also responsible for the patient in this ward downstairs, so I have to go to two places. Little sister, I'll have to trouble you again. Could you keep an eye on Comrade Su Qiang upstairs for me? If anything happens and I'm not there, please be sure to contact me immediately. I don't usually wander around during my working hours; I'm either in the ward or at the nurses' station."
"Okay, if anyone's been inconvenienced, it's us who's troubled you. We're so sorry." Su Xiao was genuinely apologetic. Today's incident was entirely their fault for dragging the young lady into it, and they had even misunderstood her. She felt truly guilty.
"Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Su Xiaoxiao, and I'm a sophomore at Kyoto Medical College. I came here with my teacher to help treat the patient in room 202 on the second floor." Su Xiaoxiao extended her hand to formally introduce herself, hoping to become friends with this young lady.
Tian Shuang was slightly taken aback, then burst into laughter. "My name is Tian Shuang, and I'm from Shanghai. You're amazing! I failed the college entrance exam twice, and my family asked someone to help me get into the army. I originally planned to be an arts and culture soldier, but unfortunately, I'm tone-deaf and uncoordinated, so I wasn't selected and could only serve as a medic. However, it seems that I might not be able to become a medic after all."
Tian Shuang was not unhappy because of this.
Su Xiao apologized again, "I'm sorry."
Tian Shuang waved her hand dismissively, saying with a hint of helplessness, "There's really no need to apologize. I only joined the army out of necessity to avoid scoundrels. Whether I become a medic or not is not important to me."
Su Xiao, upon hearing this juicy gossip, looked at her with sparkling eyes, "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that I was never going to be in the army for long anyway, it was just a temporary thing. So, please don't apologize anymore." Tian Shuang explained with a smile, but there was a bitterness in her smile. "I've realized that I'm not meant to be at this hospital, and I'm afraid I wasn't going to stay here for long anyway."
She actually sensed it; for some reason, the head nurse seemed to be targeting her. She felt that even without Su Qiang's incident, it would be difficult for her to be promoted and stay on as a full-time employee.
"Let's go, let's take care of business first, you can tell me more about it later."
As they spoke, the two had already reached the entrance to the second floor.
After moving his things in, Su Qiang officially moved into room 202, and the ward suddenly became lively.
It was just Su Xiao and Tian Shuang who were busy.
