Chapter 189, /.

Su Xiao pressed her head against the door, trying hard to listen to the sounds outside.

The other party seemed a bit agitated and suddenly started banging on the door, startling Su Xiao and almost deafening her.

"Open the door, please open the door..."

Su Xiao jumped back a step, rubbing her ear with one hand, frowning and looking coldly at the door that was shaking from being hit. Her expression was somewhat solemn. This door didn't look very sturdy.

Turning around, she quickly went to the room, looked around, and soon locked onto her target: a single sofa. She rushed over, pushed it to the door, and blocked the entrance.

Seeing the door still banging on the door, her mind raced, and without thinking, she said, "Comrade, what do you want to do? Are you trying to break into the room and rob it? So blatant and ostentatious, aren't you afraid of attracting everyone's attention?"

The knocking on the door stopped abruptly, clearly indicating that the person had heard her words and was now having second thoughts.

Su Xiao looked over and listened, and heard some noisy footsteps.

"Xiao Liu, quickly help me check what's going on outside the door?" Su Xiao felt her heart pounding and couldn't calm down.

"Yes, Master." Little Six was observing and immediately started a live broadcast.

Two more people arrived at the door. Their eyes met as they looked at each other with their bags and packages, and they immediately became alert. After a brief exchange of questions, they quickly formed an alliance. One of them left, leaving the other two to guard the door.

"Something's wrong!" Su Xiao sensed something was wrong and immediately ran to the window to check, but there was no way out. She paced anxiously in circles. She could easily hide in her spatial dimension, but then...

She just spoke, which means she's inside. There's no way for her to leave, so how can she suddenly disappear?

With a rustling sound, Su Xiao hurriedly took out an iron rod from her spatial storage for self-defense, her eyes fixed on the door, feeling sweat beading on her back.

"Where did they get the key?" Xiao Liu asked in alarm. "Master, please come in quickly. Those people outside are obviously not good people."

Su Xiao frowned, her eyes resolute. "I know, but we can't go in."

She wouldn't reveal the existence of the space unless absolutely necessary. Besides, she wasn't a coward. So what if they were just three stubborn individuals? If they dared to make a move, she would make sure they never returned.

The door was indeed opened with the key, and the sofa was quite light, so it was easy to push open.

Su Xiao coldly watched their actions and said sarcastically, "Gentlemen, isn't this knowingly breaking the law?"

“Ms. Su, I didn’t mean any harm.” The man squeezed in sideways, explaining as he did so, “I just wanted to ask you for a favor, really, I meant no harm… Look, this is all for your payment…”

"Don't come any closer." Su Xiao picked up the stick beside her and pointed it at the other person, assuming a fighting stance.

The people opposite were startled and stopped in their tracks.

"No, Ms. Su, we're really not bad..."

What are you doing?

A loud shout and hurried footsteps approached from afar, startling the group. Su Xiao's tense heart relaxed slightly, but she still kept her eyes fixed on the door until she saw the familiar person.

"Shang, Shang..." The man's tongue was tied, and he couldn't speak clearly.

With a dark expression, Shang Ziming roughly pushed aside the person blocking the doorway and strode towards Su Xiao. "Xiao Xiao, are you alright?"

Su Xiao had already lowered her hands and smiled, "It's alright, you came just in time."
