Su Peipei thought that having more connections meant having more options, but she didn't realize that some people weren't so easy to mess with.

"Dawei, that's not right of you. Such a well-behaved and beautiful little sister, why don't you protect her?" Wang Biao looked at Su Wei with a stern face, then turned to Su Peipei and said confidently, "Peipei, if you were my own sister, I would definitely give you the best of everything."
Su Peipei was overjoyed to see Su Wei get his comeuppance. Thinking about how he had hit her several times, and how someone like him could get a job with the help of his parents and grandparents, she suddenly had another idea.
Su Peipei said with a mix of grievance and bitterness, "He only has eyes for my little cousin. After all, she gave him the job that our parents left us after they died. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that he didn't beat me to death."
"Su Peipei, what nonsense are you spouting?" Su Wei finally swallowed the large piece of meat, glaring at Su Peipei with a displeased expression as he scolded her.
"Oh, trying to act tough in front of me?" Wang Biao was displeased. He slammed his hand on the table and glared at him fiercely, clearly intending to stand up for Su Peipei.
Su Wei immediately cowered and said with a forced smile, "No, no. I'm full and have something to do, so I'll be going now. Peipei, you should spend more time with Brother Biao and eat more to nourish yourself."
Su Wei's decision to leave was exactly what the two of them wanted.
"You're quite sensible. Alright, get lost. Remember this: if you dare bully your sister again, I'll deal with you." Su Wei was, after all, the girl's brother, so he couldn't really do anything to her. It was good that she left.
Su Peipei thought to herself, "It's good that he's gone. I don't have to worry about him listening to my plan and tipping off Su Xiaoxiao."
Both men had their own ulterior motives and tacitly agreed to Su Wei's departure.
