Su Xiao's incredulous expression was quite funny, which made Hua Shancheng laugh heartily.
Su Xiao was speechless. "Master, what's so funny?"
"Haha, Master, laugh whenever you want." Hua Shancheng said smugly, "We've arrived."
Before they knew it, the two had arrived home.
"No, Master, I'm serious. Who becomes a teaching assistant right after starting school? I haven't even learned anything yet, oh dear..."
Su Xiao's incessant chatter was interrupted by Hua Shancheng's slap on the head.
"What do you mean you haven't learned anything? All those books I gave you were for nothing!" Hua Shancheng said through gritted teeth, exasperated.
"Hey, you old geezer, how dare you hit Xiaoxiao!" Grandma Hua opened the door and saw Hua Shancheng hitting her. She was so angry that she slapped him on the back.
"Smack!"
Grandma Hua didn't hold back this time, giving Hua Shancheng a solid slap that made him stumble.
"Hey, you old woman, how come you have such a strong grip?" Hua Shancheng muttered to himself.
"What did you say?" Grandma Hua had already walked to Su Xiao's side and vaguely heard Hua Shancheng muttering. She stared at him and asked.
"No, no." Hua Shancheng looked frightened, immediately waved his hand, backed away from Grandma Hua, and slipped into the house, his main message being that he couldn't afford to offend her and had to retreat.
Su Xiao was still in a daze when she witnessed a good show. She never expected her master to be so cowardly in front of her grandmother.
Grandma Hua tenderly stroked Su Xiao's head, "Does it hurt? That old man, he has no sense of proportion."
Su Xiao was touched. "It's okay, Grandma. Master didn't use any force at all. It doesn't hurt."
"Really?" Grandma Hua was still worried and instructed, "Don't cover for him. If he dares to yell at you, just tell me, and Grandma will teach him a lesson for you."
Because Su Xiao was already used to calling Hua Grandma, she didn't change her address to Master's wife, so they treated each other as their own.
"Little Miss." Hua Cunming heard the voice early in the morning and, seeing that they hadn't come in, couldn't wait any longer and rushed out.

Four dishes and a soup, four people, and they ate happily.
After the meal, Hua Shancheng gave her a thick booklet. “This is my summary of the study outline for the first semester of freshman year. Take a good look at it when you get home. If there is anything you need to add, then the theory classes will be yours after the semester starts.”
"Master, are you serious?" Su Xiao asked while flipping through the booklet.
“Of course,” Hua Shancheng said matter-of-factly. “If I had to teach every class, I wouldn’t have that much time. Originally, the school didn’t consider the TCM major for this year’s admissions. It was your Uncle Yang who secretly pulled some strings to get me transferred back, and that’s how the TCM major was arranged.”
Su Xiao nodded slightly; it was pretty much what she had guessed.
"Are Grandpa Yang and the others alright?"
"Everything's fine. Take some time to visit her. Tianniu misses you a lot. If you come and don't go to see her, she'll definitely be heartbroken." As he said this, Hua Shancheng glanced at her sideways, probably thinking of this ungrateful little thing again, how she came and then avoided him.
Su Xiao felt guilty about this, "I understand, I'll go the day after tomorrow."
