There was a burst of dense horse hoof sounds coming from the distance, probably the government officials were coming.
Jiang Mingzhi couldn't cry anymore. She reached out and wiped away her tears vaguely, looking at Chu Muchi angrily.

Jiang Mingzhi was shocked by the deeper meaning of these words. He blinked and was petrified with embarrassment.
Fortunately, Qingtang and his men arrived in time, so Jiang Mingzhi didn't have to continue to be petrified in embarrassment.
