Chapter 462 Zhou Ming’s True Identity

Zhou Ming reached for the sword at his waist, only to remember that his sword had disappeared long ago.

He could only strike the man with one palm.

The man quickly knelt down and begged for mercy.

"Please spare me. I'm here to convey the witch doctor's words."

Zhou Ming retracted his action and looked at the man with dangerous eyes.

"explain!"

The man secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He said to Zhou Ming, "The witch doctor said your wife will be fine soon. But if you don't want to die, go find him tomorrow at noon."

After saying these words, the man dropped a basket of fruit from some unknown tree and ran away.

Zhou Ming looked at the man running away, then looked at the fruit in the basket, a cold light flashed in his eyes.

The people here are all weird, and the witch doctor is like a zombie.

Although the tribesmen were normal, they were mostly old, weak, women and children, and it seemed that all the able-bodied men in the village were gone.

Like the man just now, one of his eyes is blind, there is no eyeball, only a black hole, and he limps when he walks and has difficulty moving.

There seemed to be a lot of them throughout the village.

He wasn't sure if the food the man brought was poisonous so he didn't eat it.

He turned around and was about to go back to the house when he was suddenly hit by a stabbing pain, as if there was a worm in his brain, crawling around and gnawing at him.

He was in so much pain that he couldn't stand and fell heavily to the ground.

Sweat blurred his eyes, but the pain did not subside but became more intense.

However, the pain did not last forever. After a while, it gradually disappeared.

He got up from the ground and began to think about what those people had just said.

Is there really something wrong with his body?

Did he have problems before, or did the witch doctor just do something to him that caused him to become like this?

Before he could recover for long, a new round of pain came again, and he rolled on the ground in pain.

When Xie Yunjiao woke up, she just heard Zhou Ming's painful roar.

She was startled and sat up in bed.

She saw Zhou Ming rolling on the ground. He was sweating profusely and his body was wet with sweat as if he had just been pulled out of the water.

Xie Yunjiao was shocked and thought to herself, everything was fine just now, how could it suddenly become like this?

If she climbed down and took care of Zhou Ming at this moment, there might not be any more trouble in the future.

Thinking of this, Xie Yunjiao felt murderous.

She wanted to get out of bed, but the pain in her legs reminded her once again that she was now unable to move around easily.

But strangely enough, after the witch doctor sprinkled powder on her wound, she fainted from the pain.

Now when I woke up, I found that the pain in the wound on my leg had subsided.

She lifted up her clothes and took a closer look. She saw that the bleeding had stopped and the wound looked smaller than before. She was stunned.

She must be dazzled and saw it wrong, right?

A normal person would not be able to recover so quickly from such a serious injury.

As the saying goes, it takes a hundred days to heal a broken bone.

She must have seen it wrong!

She rubbed her eyes and looked at the wound again, but was surprised to find that the wound was indeed much smaller than it was at the beginning.

"What on earth is going on?" Xie Yunjiao muttered with a puzzled look on her face.

It is said that Miaojiang is a mysterious country and the people there are good at using poison and raising insects. I didn’t expect that they also have magical medicines that can save lives.

Even more powerful than the spiritual spring water in her space!

However, her spiritual spring water is gentle and will not cause people extreme pain like the witch doctor's medicine.

If possible, she would rather use her own spiritual spring and medical skills to slowly recover than use such medicine.

Just when Xie Yunjiao was stunned, Zhou Ming stopped feeling the pain and he got up from the ground.

When he saw Xie Yunjiao sitting up, he said to her with a look of surprise: "You're awake. Do you feel better?"

Xie Yunjiao glanced at him indifferently without saying anything.

Zhou Ming's face darkened and he kicked the basket of fruit away: "Why can you ignore my kindness to you like this?"

Xie Yunjiao said to him, "Don't speak so highly of yourself. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here and end up like this."

If it weren't for him, she would have returned to Baiyue and reunited with Jing Kai long ago.

"Moreover, you are a prince, but you are lurking beside me as an ordinary person and climbing up step by step. What is your purpose? I am afraid only you know it best." Xie Yunjiao said again.

Zhou Ming was stunned for a moment. He didn't expect that Xie Yunjiao actually knew his identity.

However, when he took out the seal and handed it to that person, he had expected that Xie Yunjiao might see through his identity, but he didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

His identity is known only to himself and a few others.

He was his father's illegitimate son, and his father had many descendants, among whom he was completely insignificant.

Furthermore, his mother came from a poor family and was a servant in the palace. His father accidentally had her while drunk, which led to his father having him. However, his father had completely forgotten about it, and his mother was too timid to tell anyone.

Later, her belly became too big to be hidden, and people almost thought she was having an affair with someone else and wanted to throw her in a pig cage.

In desperation, she told the truth.

Unexpectedly, the princess did not let my mother go but locked her up in a dungeon and tortured her day and night. My mother could not bear the torture and bit her tongue to commit suicide.

The princess thought there would be two deaths, so she had her mother's body dragged away and thrown away.

But he came out of his mother's belly with a loud cry.
