Chapter 11 Gu Huaixu's Arrangements

Wen Yi took thirty seconds to make his final decision.

He took a step forward and got into Luo Jia's car.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped at the MISS bar.

Wen Yi was surprised.

“Miss Wen, the young master reminded him that he is keeping his promise to you. Miss Wen, you just need to give him your trust.”

Luo Jia opened the car door for Wen Yi and reminded him at the same time.

After hesitating for ten seconds, Wen got out of the car and followed the Luo family through the side door of MISS Bar to the dressing room.

There were quite a few people in the dressing room. Luo Jia whispered in Wen Yi's ear, "The innermost dressing room is the private dressing room that the young master prepared for Miss Wen Yi."

Wen Yi felt uneasy, but she trusted Gu Huaixu.

For some reason, Wen Yi always had a natural sense of trust in Gu Huaixu.

The more he interacted with Gu Huaixu, the more he felt a sense of déjà vu... 'Bang!'

Wen was lost in thought and didn't notice when he bumped into a woman.

"What are you doing? Can't you watch where you're going?" the woman demanded sharply.

"Sister Xiaomeng, it's okay, let's come this way."

A woman in a work uniform rushed over and dragged the woman away.

The woman stared at Wen Yi, and as she walked past her, she whispered in her ear, "Just a new prostitute."

Wen frowned; those words were harsh.

Luo Jia stepped forward and asked, "Should I send someone over to apologize to you?"

"No need, don't waste time," Wen Yi said.

Luo Jia nodded and glanced around the dressing room. The people, wary of Luo Jia, all looked away.

Wen Yi was led into the innermost room by Luo Jia.

She discovered that not only was there a makeup team waiting inside, but the clothes were also prepared. As soon as Wen entered, these people began to fuss over her.

Half an hour later, inside the MISS bar.

The venue was filled with deafening music, the dance floor was a chaotic mess, and the booths were filled with decadent revelry.

Wen Yi rarely goes to bars.

The last time was when he was drunk and mistook Gu Huaixu for Gu Zeyu and slept with him by mistake.

This time was different. Wen Yi was wearing a sparkly stage costume and a mask, standing behind the bar stage, waiting to go on stage.

To date, Wen Yi has not yet met Gu Huaixu.

Luo Jia conveyed to Wen Yi that after this dance, Wen Yi would know Gu Huaixu's purpose.

Wen Yi trusted Gu Huaixu, but she still felt uneasy.

Did Gu Huaixu think that Gu Zeyu would be watching from below the stage?

However, as a favored son of heaven, Young Master Gu naturally prefers socialites and heiresses.

Even if one is not exceptionally beautiful, one must still be dignified and elegant.

The dancers in the bar were clearly not within the scope of what would attract Young Master Gu's attention.

"Miss Wen Yi, it's time for you to go on stage."

Luo Jia whispered a reminder in Wen Yi's ear.

The bar lights had dimmed, the people on the dance floor had left, and all attention was now on the stage.

Wen Yi closed her eyes, took a deep breath, suppressed all her panic and speculation, put on her mask, and stepped onto the stage.

The lights and music suddenly came on, and Wen Yi became completely absorbed in the moment.

This dance was not rehearsed, and the music was not familiar to Wen Yi, but she had been dancing for more than ten years, so improvising to music was no problem for her at all.

Her every movement was either gentle or full of power.

The skirt billowing with movement, interwoven with music and lights, creates a captivating and stunning effect in this bar setting.

The audience gasped and marveled at Wen Yi's precise timing.

As the song ended, Wen opened her eyes.

She watched the cheers and shouts from the audience, praising and excited for her dance.

Wen Yi's breathing became rapid, her heart pounding. She could no longer distinguish whether it was the fatigue from the intense dancing or the excitement generated by the cheers and applause.

"75 degrees ahead, remove your mask."

Gu Huaixu's deep voice came through Wen Yi's earphones.

She subconsciously looked in the direction Gu Huaixu had mentioned, and saw Gu Zeyu and Wen Ge sitting in a booth, with Gu Zeyu staring intently at the stage.

After taking a deep breath and pressing her lips together, Wen Yi took two steps forward, then removed the mask.

As the lights shone down, Wen Yi's face appeared clearly on the scene.

She wasn't exactly stunningly beautiful, but without her black-rimmed glasses, her features were soft, with rounded inner corners and narrow outer corners, giving her a cute yet slightly aloof look.

Wen Yi clearly saw the shock in Gu Zeyu's eyes.

And Wen Ge's disbelief as she sat next to him.

Wen Ge almost subconsciously looked at Gu Zeyu, then shifted her gaze back to Wen Yi.

Wen Ge's subtle actions made Wen Yi realize that the dance just now had successfully captured Gu Zeyu's full attention and made Gu Zeyu ignore Wen Ge.

"Head towards Gu Zeyu," Gu Huaixu instructed through his earpiece.

Wen Yi threw off her mask and walked off the stage, heading straight towards Gu Zeyu.

As Wen Yi approached, Gu Zeyu tensed up, his back stiff, staring intently at her as she slowly walked towards him.

Wen Yi remained calm, her steps neither hurried nor slow.

However……

"Miss, your dance just now was amazing, I really enjoyed it."

A bald, obese man holding a wine glass blocked Wen Yi's way.

Wen Yi nodded politely, "Thank you."

She wanted to take a detour towards Gu Zeyu's direction, but the bald man precisely blocked Wen Yi's path.

"My booth is over there, wanna come over for a drink?"

As he spoke, he reached out to touch Wen Yi's face, but Wen Yi reacted quickly and dodged, saying, "Sorry, I have a friend over there."

The bald man's face clearly showed displeasure, but he quickly smiled again, "Oh, in that case..."

He turned and walked to the side.

Just as Wen Yi breathed a sigh of relief and was about to take a step, the bald man suddenly grabbed the head of the approaching waitress girl and slammed her head against the glass seat of the booth, making a loud 'bang' as the glass shattered.

The people around were startled and screamed.

Only the person sitting in the same booth as the bald man let out an excited sneer.

The bald man said menacingly, "I don't like being rejected. You want to try it if you don't know what's good for you?"

Warm up your mind and step back.

“Miss, I advise you not to mess with Brother Qiang. Brother Qiang is… well, he’s something else in this area!” A man in a booth raised his thumb, implying that this Brother Qiang was someone special.

The other people in the booth chimed in, "We're all just selling ourselves, why pretend to be reserved? We're all just keeping each other company anyway. Our Brother Qiang is really strong... hahahaha."

The people in the booths burst into laughter.

Qiang Ge kicked away the beaten waiter, grabbed a tissue from the side to wipe away the blood from his injury, and walked towards Wen Yi.

"Spend the night with me, and I'll give you any amount of money."

After Qiang finished speaking, he reached out to pull Wen Yi.

Wen Yi immediately refused to back down, saying, "I'm not selling myself, and I won't go with you."

"You don't know what's good for you?" Qiang's face darkened, and he raised his hand to slap Wen.

But as soon as he raised his hand, someone grabbed it from behind. Frustrated, Qiang turned around and attacked the person who was holding his hand, but the other person simply shook Qiang off.

Qiang lost control of his body and staggered several times before regaining his balance.

When he looked up, the other person was already standing next to Wen Yi!
