She restrained herself from lecturing Wen Yi, and instead gave him a warning look.
I had repeatedly told her not to cause any trouble when Madam Gu was visiting, but Wen Yi's behavior was quite disrespectful to the guest, which made Wen's mother very angry.
It was a complete waste of time teaching him; he's nowhere near as good as Wen Ge.
