Gu Huaixu turned his head to stare at Wen Yi, smiling brightly.
Bright sunlight streamed in through the hospital window, illuminating the man's pale skin, his captivating eyes sparkling, and the corners of his mouth revealing faint dimples.
In just that instant, it darted into Wen Yi's heart.
They stayed there from then on.
Wen quickly looked away, suppressing the turbulent emotions surging in her heart.
"Hurry up and go."
Gu Huaixu followed at a leisurely pace, letting Wen Yi drag her out. His smile remained unrestrained, but his deep eyes always revealed a hint of ambiguity.

As Wen Yi got into the car and Gu Zeyu closed the door, Gu Huaixu walked towards the driver's seat.
Gu Huaixu fastened his seatbelt, started the car, and drove past Gu Zeyu's car. During this time, Gu Zeyu carefully observed Gu Huaixu's expression, trying to discern his emotions.
Unfortunately, this man never showed his emotions, making it incredibly difficult to discern his thoughts.

The car sped away from the hospital area, but slowed down after the traffic light turned red at the intersection.

Gu Zeyu was sitting in the living room, alone. When he saw Gu Huaixu and Wen Yi walk in side by side, he frowned and blurted out, "Why did it take you so long to get back?"
Before Wen Yi could answer, Gu Huaixu asked indifferently, "Is my elder brother questioning me?"
Wen Yi didn't understand what Gu Huaixu meant, but Gu Zeyu could clearly feel the pressure in the man's eyes. Gu Zeyu's heart tightened, knowing that he had offended this man.

"The car broke down on the way, and we were delayed by changing a tire," Wen Yi quickly explained.

She looked at Xia Xiaomeng with a very unfriendly expression.
Wen Yi has always been quiet and gentle, always kind and friendly to everyone, and rarely expresses her dislike and unfriendliness towards someone so directly.
