Chapter 183 Using the Green Tea Tactics

"Your father and mother are very happy that you have such awareness. I believe that your sister is such a kind and generous person that she won't hold it against you," said Wen's mother with great satisfaction.

Wen smiled, didn't answer, and got up to walk towards the restroom.

There was a restroom inside the restaurant, but it was located in a long corridor from where the tables were, and Wen walked at a leisurely pace.

She pushed open the bathroom door and saw Wen Ge standing in front of the mirror, fixing her makeup.

Wen Ge has a delicate and fragile appearance, which makes her look pitiful. Because she had just cried, the corners of her eyes and the tip of her nose were red, giving her a naturally pitiful look.

When Wen Yi pushed the door open and entered, Wen Ge merely glanced at him, a slight smile curving her lips, as if she had anticipated that Wen Yi would come to find her.

Wen Yi then closed the door and said indifferently, "Little sister, Mom asked me to come and check on you and apologize to you."

"Why should I apologize, sister? What did I do wrong?" Wen Ge feigned innocence. "It's because I was being ignorant, how could I be wrong?"

"Although I also think my sister is immature, shameless, likes to stir up trouble and generate traffic," Wen Yi scolded without any politeness.

Wen Ge wasn't annoyed; she simply smiled faintly.

Wen Yi continued, "But she is my sister after all, so I have to play along with her."

She stepped forward, leaning on the sink as she approached Wen Ge. "Your sister staged this whole live-streamed dinner party just to embarrass me, only to find out I brought your brother-in-law along."

“I didn’t expect my sister to be able to tolerate my brother-in-law’s face.” Wen Ge paused for a few seconds. “I can only say that my sister has a very high tolerance. Fortunately, my parents loved me and insisted on letting my sister get married, which saved me from this marriage.”

Wen Ge leaned in and whispered in Wen Yi's ear, "Sister, to be honest, it must have been very painful for you to have a man with that face on top of you. Did you have nightmares? Did you ever think about suicide?"

"Oh, I must remind you, sister, don't die so young, otherwise the Imperial Garden will come to take you back, and the Wen family will be in big trouble then."

Wen Ge was smug.

Wen Yi didn't think anything of it, but simply said, "Little sister, your parents love you so much, didn't they teach you not to laugh at other people's scars?"

"Oh, my parents didn't teach me that, sister."

"Then you have no manners."

“But my parents think I’m good enough and don’t need these hypocritical things to enhance my abilities. I think my sister needs these things.” Wen Ge lowered her eyes, looking down on her with disdain. “After all, my sister needs these hypocritical congratulations to cover up her incompetence.”

"When others say I'm incompetent, I just think they're being immature. You say I'm incompetent... what, have you forgotten how you got everything you have today?"

"I haven't forgotten, I have a good but incompetent older sister." Wen Ge's expression immediately changed. "But so what? Even if you declare to the public now that you're not incompetent, who will believe you?"

"Everyone only knows that the Wen family has a second young lady who is outstanding and free, and can succeed at whatever she wants. As for the eldest young lady of the Wen family, she is nothing more than someone who has taken all the benefits from the second young lady and then repeatedly framed her out of jealousy. Who would believe your so-called excellence?"

In her last sentence, Wen Ge's sarcasm intensified, as if she were mocking Wen Yi for telling a huge joke.

For so many years, the second young lady of the Wen family has been outstanding and humble, a socialite and a young lady of high society, while the so-called eldest young lady of the Wen family is nothing but a good-for-nothing who relies on the Wen family. This image is deeply ingrained.

Even though there have been several incidents before, it still hasn't changed this deeply ingrained idea.

No one would agree that Wen Yi is better than Wen Ge.

Even their own parents wouldn't accept this situation, let alone outsiders!

"Is that so?" Wen Yi simply replied.

Wen Ge nodded, "So, I advise my sister not to waste her energy. Either be a good sister, or..."

The smile on Wen Ge's face vanished completely at that moment.

A ruthless glint flashed in his eyes.

Wen Yi understood what Wen Ge meant by not explicitly stating it, but she insisted on asking the obvious, "Or what?"

"Either, my sister will never be the eldest daughter of the Wen family, nor will she ever become the so-called second wife of the Imperial Garden."

"So, you mean you're going to try and kill me?" Wen smiled.

Wen Ge shook her head. "Sister, we're sisters. We don't need to choose such a drastic way that ends up making everyone unhappy, do we?"

"So, what do you mean you want me to do?"

"I hope my sister will behave herself and be a good older sister, and stop having any rebellious thoughts, such as asking our parents for 100 million yuan."

"Isn't this to save you?" Wen Yi said sarcastically.

"Does my sister think I need you to save me?"

"It's definitely necessary," Wen Yi replied earnestly.

Before Wen Ge could speak, Wen Yi suddenly hugged Wen Ge's neck, forcing Wen Ge to press her body close to his.

Wen Yi whispered in her ear, "Little sister, would you like to change seats?"

Wen Ge stared at Wen Yi, not quite understanding. "What does my sister mean...?"

"Let me show you my situation, and see how you handle it."

As soon as Wen Yi finished speaking, she suddenly lost control and stumbled backward before crashing heavily to the ground.

At the same time, the bathroom door was violently pushed open.

"Wen Ge, are you alright..."

Wen's mother's anxious voice came in, but upon seeing the scene in the bathroom, she stopped talking abruptly.

“Wen, Wen Yi…” Wen’s mother was stunned.

She was still holding her phone, and the camera clearly captured the scene in the bathroom.

Wen Ge still had her hand outstretched. Wen Yi fell to the ground, her arm scraped and bleeding profusely. Wen Ge's actions clearly proved that she had just pushed Wen Yi to the ground.

Wen Ge didn't even realize what was happening.

In the past, if something like this had happened, Wen Ge would definitely have been the one lying on the ground looking pitiful, but now that the role has been changed.

Wen Yi tried to stand up despite the pain, but lost her balance and fell down again.

Seeing her mother still in a daze, Wen Yi said, "Mom and Dad, please don't blame Wen Ge. It was my own carelessness. It wasn't Wen Ge who pushed me. Maybe it was because I said something unpleasant that Wen Ge got angry. Please don't blame Wen Ge."

When Wen Yi spoke, he was still trying to stand up, but he failed and fell to the ground, blood gushing out. It looked very serious.

But she still insisted, "You must not blame Wen Ge. She definitely didn't do it on purpose. Besides, she's the younger sister. An older sister should be considerate of her younger sister and not blame her. I would feel bad if I blamed her."

Wen Yi spoke emotionally, almost repeating the same things Wen Ge used to say.

The only difference between Wen Yi and Wen Ge is that Wen Ge has tears, while Wen Yi does not.
