Chapter 141 Can I stay in your room for one night?

The entire inn has five courtyards and five types of rooms.

They are Mountain Residence, Cloud Field, Tea Fragrance, Exquisite, and Rain Alley.

The mountain residence where Su Yang and Tang Ziyun lived was located on the left side of the entire inn. After passing through an ancient corridor, they arrived at the mountain-style courtyard.

The courtyard is surrounded on three sides and has two floors in total. Su Yang and Tang Ziyun's rooms are at the innermost right side of the first floor.

The entire inn is lit by lanterns at night. It’s not really dark, but it’s not very clear either, and it feels hazy.

Su Yang and Tang Ziyun walked side by side and came to the courtyard of the mountain residence.

Compared with the courtyard at the entrance of the inn, this one in the mountain residence is much smaller.

It was already late at night, and the light was not very good, so the scenery in the yard was not very clear.

After entering the yard, there were no signboards, so Su Yang went from room to room.

From left to right are room numbers 9-1.

"Xiao Tang, this way." Su Yang waved to Tang Ziyun.

Tang Ziyun agreed and quickly followed. The two of them walked to the doors of Room 1 and Room 2 at the innermost part of the yard and took a look.

Each room is about two or three meters apart.

Tang Ziyun walked to her door and turned around and said with a smile: "Su Yang, I'm going back to my room first, good night~"

Su Yang nodded and smiled: "Good night, go to bed early."

"Okay."

The two of them opened the door and walked in.

It was pitch black after entering the room, just like an ordinary hotel. You had to insert the room card into the card slot on the side of the door before the room lights would turn on.

After inserting the card, the light came on. Su Yang took a look and was stunned.

Two seconds later he uttered two words: "Fuck!"

"This...TM..."

The room is very spacious and looks very simple and quaint. The whole room is divided into a living room, toilet/bathroom, and a bedroom.

But what can I say about the design of the living room? It looks very much like a temple in the wilderness in martial arts novels.

The living room didn't even have a floor, just cement. In the middle of the room stood an old square wooden table. To say it was old was a nice thing to say, but to put it bluntly, it was shabby.

There were a few equally worn wooden chairs next to the table.

Looking further inside, there was a black wooden table against the wall opposite the table, on which were placed several ceramic bottles, two plates of freshly cut fruits, two bottles of mineral water and a kettle.

However, the shape of this platform always seems a bit strange. If there is an incense burner on it and three incense sticks are inserted in the middle, Su Yang would want to walk over and pay his respects...

He stared at the wooden platform with his mouth wide open for a long time, and in a trance he felt as if he had traveled back to ancient times.

The lighting in the whole room is not very bright, as if a light bulb that has been used for many years is about to break down. It would be terrible if there were some spider webs in the corners of the room.

On the right side of the living room is a double wooden window, there is a potted plant on the ground, and there is a small forest outside the window.

There wasn't even a sofa in the entire living room, let alone a TV or anything like that.

Su Yang thought to himself, "What kind of J8 Inn is this?!"

“It’s so damn immersive.”

"This isn't a mountain retreat, it's not much better than a dilapidated temple."

Su Yang said this and walked to the bedroom door on the left side of the living room, pushed it open and took a look.

The bedroom is not big but very clean. There is a very quaint bunk bed placed against the wall at the innermost part, which looks like it has been there for decades.

There are four very tall pillars at the four corners of the bed, surrounded by a wooden carved fence, with a semicircular moon-shaped door cover in the middle.

Su Yang had some knowledge of this when he read martial arts novels. This kind of bed is also called a moon-shaped door cover bed.

A light yellow bed curtain was draped over the semicircular door cover, blocking the inside of the bed.

People who like this style of bed will like it very much, while people who don’t like it may find it a bit creepy.

"Damn it! What kind of room did this damn fat guy book?"

While I was complaining, there was a knock on the door.

Su Yang turned and walked out of the bedroom and came to the front door. He did not close the door when he came in just now.

At this moment, Tang Ziyun was standing outside the door, wanting to say something but hesitant.

"Su...Su Yang, this room..."

Seeing Tang Ziyun's bewildered expression, Su Yang smiled helplessly: "This room is a bit too ancient. Didn't the fat guy even look at the pictures when booking the room? Oh my god."

"What does your bed look like?" Tang Ziyun asked.

"Why don't you come in and take a look? They should all be the same."

Tang Ziyun walked into the room and came to the bedroom door. She smiled awkwardly and said, "I don't dare sleep on this kind of bed. Besides, there's a bed curtain next to it. I'm afraid if I lift it up, there'll be someone lying on it."

Su Yang smiled and said, "That's not the case, but this room is indeed a bit creepy, especially the living room."

As he spoke, he walked over to the table and touched it. He thought it was a shabby table, but it was actually deliberately made to look old.

After taking a closer look at the entire living room, there was nothing wrong with it. The floor was clean, and although the tables and chairs looked old, there was not a speck of dust.

However, this house gives people the feeling of being in disrepair, as if it has been a dilapidated building that no one has lived in for many years.

"What should we do? How about we cancel these two rooms and open two new ones?" Tang Ziyun said, rubbing her hands.

Su Yang thought for a moment and looked at Tang Ziyun: "The order has been confirmed. I guess it can't be refunded. I have to give a bad review. Damn it, this is not the way to play ancient style."

After he finished speaking, he looked at Tang Ziyun again and said, "Why don't we just open two new rooms? We won't be staying here anymore."

Tang Ziyun thought for a moment and said, "Well, if I can't withdraw, then forget it. I'll just have to make do with it for one night."
