Chapter 571: Taking the initiative to not kill

Seeing that the three of them were still discussing this topic, Su Yang couldn't help but look ahead and asked, "Hey, what's in that haystack?"

"What is what?"

Su Yang scratched his nose: "Oh, no, I was mistaken, I thought it was a person."

"Don't scare me, it's late at night."

The topic was successfully interrupted by Su Yang, and the three of them tacitly stopped talking and continued walking forward.

However, we had walked a long way without realizing it while chatting. Now there was no one else on the sidewalk except the four of us, and there were no residents on the left side, only dark mountains and forests.

The street lights along the road only extend to about thirty or forty meters ahead, and further ahead is a pitch-black road with no end in sight.

"We've walked so far? There are no street lights ahead. Should we continue walking?" Chen Yixue leaned towards Su Yang subconsciously and said.

After they looked at the situation ahead, Su Yang said, "Why don't we go back? If we go further, we'll be heading to the next village. There are no street lights for a kilometer or two along the way."

"Okay, okay, let's go back. It's too dark up ahead."

"Yes, if something suddenly jumps out from the bushes, I'll be scared to death." Meng Qianyu followed.

"Qian Yu! Stop talking nonsense. There's no one here already, and you're still saying these things. It's terrifying. Let's go, let's go back quickly." Chen Yixue pulled a few people and turned around to walk back.

Just as they turned around and took two steps, they suddenly heard a rustling sound in the bushes.

As soon as she heard the sound, Shen Yixue screamed first, and was so scared that she jumped up on the spot and jumped onto Su Yang.

Su Yang held her thigh and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Yes, yes, yes!! There's something in here!"

"What is that?" Pan Ning asked, turning his head to look at the bushes.

"I don't know. Didn't you hear the sound?"

"I didn't hear it." Meng Qianyu, who was lying next to the bushes, said in surprise.

"You didn't hear it even though you were so close?"

Meng Qianyu shook her head.

Su Yang did hear it, but to him, the sound was not made by humans. He probably thought there were small animals like wild cats.

"Don't scare yourself, come down." Su Yang said as he put Chen Yixue down, then he walked to the edge of the green belt and looked out.

"Pay attention." At this time, the three girls stood a little further away.

"What are you afraid of? It's probably just a little wild cat."

"Why are there wild cats here?" Meng Qianyu asked.

"It's normal to have wild cats in this kind of place. I'll go in and take a look." Su Yang said as he stepped into the haystack.

"Be careful!" Pan Ning warned from behind.

"It's okay." Su Yang walked into the dark green belt.

Although there was a street lamp every few steps on the sidewalk, the lamps were not very bright, and the position of the few people was right between two street lamps, so the visibility was not very good.

Su Yang bent down and looked left and right in the haystack.

Suddenly, the rustling sound came again from the dark grass pile in front of the left, and he hurriedly turned his head to look.

However, this location is too dark and blocked by the haystacks, so it is difficult to see clearly.

He slowed his pace and moved gently toward the source of the sound, whispering as he walked, "Peck, peck, peck! Brother, stop hiding and come out."

"I'll give you one last chance. If you come out on your own initiative, I won't kill you. Otherwise, if I catch you, you'll be in big trouble!"

Swish!

As soon as he finished speaking, a small, black creature suddenly jumped out from the haystack in front.

"What the hell?"

......

The three girls standing on the sidewalk saw Su Yang moving slowly in one direction, still talking about something.

The three of them stared intently, not daring to breathe. Of course, Pan Ning was an exception. She was not worried at all and looked at Su Yang very relaxedly.

"What on earth is it?" Meng Qianyu whispered curiously.

"I don't know, maybe it really is a wild cat." Shen Yixue replied.

"He won't be caught, will he? Why don't we get him out and let's go."

"It's okay. He can even handle a wild bull. Are you afraid that he will be caught by a wild cat?"

Hearing this, Meng Qianyu suddenly thought of the scene on the top of Yuzixi Mountain.

"Yeah, why should I worry about that?"

As the three were talking, Su Yang suddenly squatted down and disappeared from sight.

"Eh? Where's the person?" Meng Qianyu didn't notice and ran forward to check.

Pan Ning and Shen Yixiu hurried to follow.

As soon as he reached the edge of the green belt, Su Yang stood up, but there was a small black thing in his hand.

"Oh my god?! What is this?" Chen Yixue and Meng Qianyu didn't see it clearly and took two steps back in shock.

Pan Ning took the initiative to step forward and tilted her head and asked, "Is this... a dog?"

"Hehe, that's right, a wild little puppy."

Su Yang was holding a small black dog in his hands, which was not even as big as his two palms. The dog was furry and all black, without any other color, so Su Yang didn't notice it when it was hiding in the haystack before.

This dog looks to be only two or three months old. Its eyes can hardly be opened and it looks very milky.

It lay in Su Yang's hand very obediently, without humming or making any sound.

"Oh, you're so good. Give it to me, give it to me." Pan Ning rarely smiled. She reached out and took the little black dog from Su Yang's hand.

Only then did Chen Yixue and Meng Qianyu react and quickly ran forward to watch: "Wow, funny! Puppy hook!" Chen Yixue shouted happily as if she had seen some treasure.

"Don't scream. You're just a small creature. Don't scare it to death."

"That's an exaggeration."
