"Isn't it...?"
Ming Yixiu looked away in disappointment, lowered his head, and pouted.
Oh dear, I thought I met my idol!
That's true, you can't just meet your idol anytime, right? Especially in the cramped space of an airplane, right next to someone else?
Ming Yixiu accepted it, then quickly perked up and pestered Yan Chiyu with a smile, "It's okay, even if you're not Yan Chiyu, having the same surname and name is fate. How about we become friends?"
Yan Chiyu's intuition told him that this guy was difficult to deal with and a problem.
Even though he was dressed in a long robe and mandarin jacket, and had an elegant and Buddhist-like appearance, it did not dispel Yan Chiyu's concerns.
The boy lowered his voice, his tone and manner indifferent, "I have many friends, I don't want to make any more friends, sorry."
After saying that, he closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.
Admittedly, Ming Yixiu is a guy who likes to make friends easily, but he has no interest in trying to be friendly with a boy who exudes an aura of "don't touch me" upon their first meeting.
"Okay, sorry to bother you."
Ming Yixiu subtly moved Yue Chi half a step back, sat up straight, put on his headphones, and listened to soothing music to ease the slight discomfort in his heart.
The plane landed at Songcheng Airport right on time. Yan Chiyu emerged from the airport, momentarily stunned.
The hazy orange-golden light of the setting sun fell on the airport gate. He stood there for a long time, remembering how he and Wu Yue had departed from here a year ago.
To his surprise, the people who came to pick him up were younger members of the clan. Although they looked about the same age as him, and some even looked much older, they still respectfully greeted him as "Second Uncle".
Yan Chiyu waved his hand dismissively, then bent down and got into the car.
The two younger members quickly followed them into the car.
"Second Uncle, should we go home first? Or go to 449 Ankang Road?" Yan Zining spoke first. He was twenty-three years old and had just graduated from university. He was considered one of the more talented members of the Yan family. As soon as Yan Chiyu returned, his parents sent him over, even if it was just for two days, so he could learn something from Yan Chiyu.
Yan Zining was actually a little afraid of Yan Chiyu. She didn't know why, even though the other party looked younger than her, she couldn't help but feel afraid every time she saw him. It was probably out of awe.
His second uncle's aura was something that even an ordinary person like him would be afraid of. He would panic if his uncle raised an eyebrow or said "oh" or "um".
It's as if something big is about to happen.
"Second Uncle, didn't you bring any luggage?" Yan Ziwei looked left and right, and then thought back. When he saw Yan Chiyu earlier, he really didn't have a single suitcase. Not to mention a suitcase, he didn't even see half a wallet.
"Second Uncle, you just got back today, are you leaving already?"
Yan Chiyu raised his head and said in a hoarse voice, "We can buy the things when we get back."
He paused, then said, "Let's go check out Ankang Road first."
The Yan family has a business friend surnamed Liang. Mr. Liang has a son, Liang Yicheng, who is in high school. The school is located near Ankang Road, just two blocks away.
Liang Yicheng was known for his bravery at school. That day, he invited three friends, two boys and one girl, to go on an adventure late Saturday night.
Upon returning, all four of them fell ill, and one of the boys almost went to see Mu Junyan.
After being ill for three weeks without improvement, Mr. Liang learned the truth and approached the Yan family, hoping they could help.
This kind of simple matter could normally be handled by the younger generation, but Mr. Liang's son, Liang Yicheng, got into big trouble by bringing home two high-level soul beings. The novice tried to handle it, but not only did he fail to resolve the issue perfectly, he also got himself into a mess.
Uncle Yan hadn't seen Yan Chiyu for a long time, so he found an excuse to call him back to Song City.
